golem underside totally missing lighting effects of the other raven hull funny the lights are there, they are just not lit up

the new piant job on the golem is rly cool :D
now i oonly want ccp to fix those missle launcher placements to the old 2+2 ( 2 top 2 bot ) instead of the current 4 top 4 bot

Golem texture looks awesome. I wish all Lai Dai ships (Cerb, Hawk, Bustard...) would look that way!

I hope they don't fix the Paladin's skin if that's not how it's supposed to be. Have the devs said this is wrong or does everyone just think they know. It looks awesome as is.

It's using the old texture but the models UV mapping has changed, so yes that is the wrong texture. If you look carefully you can see this is the case as nothing lines up between the texture and the model. Also the turrets are offset and floating, so it seems to be using the old assets all around - give them time.

I have a few gripes.

You can clearly see the 'bastion internals' even when it's packed up. Since they are also animated with a cheesy plastic wrap effect, it's kind-of distracting too.

Also, it clearly shows 8 launchers, when it should only show 4.

Finally, I think it would look better if they rotated the Lai Dai symbol atop the port wing 90 degrees counter-clockwise.

Without being able to get into a Golem at the moment, I have to agree with this. Even 180 degrees would be better, since at the moment it seems to be advertising to itself. Lol

Have you ever looked at any other ship before? Ships always have twice as many turrets on the model as they actually have, often oriented so that when the firing animation occurs, four of them fire no matter where the target is relative to the ship.

Eight launchers, four top and four bottom, is correct.

But on another note, I'm not seeing much difference in the model itself. i'm assuming that you guys will be sticking with the classic blood red and gold of Carthum Conglomerate?

Also, how far are the animations from being finished? i'm hoping they're a long way off so far as more animation would be nice for the Bastion effect.

50% of the ship had to be remodeled compared to the apoc and yes we stick to the red and gold colors. Regarding the animation, i doubt that much will change.

A bunch of us liked the Paladin's skin, messed up or not :( Oh well I guess, Carthum's colors are still pretty cool. Also, I like the animation. You can see the electrical effect thing on the Golem, too, with the flaps down. You just gotta look. Unless that's been fixed, I didn't really look. I love it though. They fit with the ships.
