Has a common language developed among the Empires at this point? Perhaps as a concord initiative or something? Or do people just use translation software for everything?

Capsuleers, at least, use implanted language translators capable of translating emotion, mood, slang and dialect as well as simple basic word meaning - see the chronicle "Language Translators".

Although the chronicle mentions that the translators are becoming "more common" I'd be surprised if any outside of other ultra-rich types were commonly using them at this point.

I'm more trying to find info about normal people . For example, a ships crew, or someone moving to one of the different empires.
