No, the shill brigade is just out in force to drum up support for new Incarna features.

If you've attempted to eve look at SiSi you'll see its on there.

CCP are unlikely to shuffle in a small patch for the bling pod when the Rubicon expansion is reasonably close to release.

Yes, yes we do. What of it?

I know it's a small issue, but given that this is a collectors edition that is being issued to celebrate 10 years of EVE I'm simply amazed that this was left out. Where is CCPs attention to detail.

I don't think it's unrealistic to expect that it be a complete product. We did pay for it after all.

Or is this an intentional reminder that CCP is still able to leave a job half done?

Sweet jeezbus. After 10 years of EVE, how do you not yet understand CCP's software development process?

Anyway, just be patient. Team Willly Wonka Wonka Wonka will fix the color issue as part of the 15 year collector's edition of EVE.

So people moan that CCP worked on WiS in preference to FiS, Incarna being almost universally accepted as a failure.

Players protest. CCP commit to working on FiS. And now people are complaining that a feature used by hardly any of the players likely to have purchased the CE hasn't been updated

Get over it. The golden pod is a vanity item, its the kinda thing you show off to other people. There really is no need for CCP to assign a Dev/Devs to work on changing this within the CQ.

As always communication is the problem here.
They could have, yet didn't, say so upfront.

The key issue is whether or not CCP should be allowed to sell something that is not complete.

The golden pod does not display when viewed from the captains quarters. You still get the commoner-green version. A dev has confirmed that it is not going to be updated.

The only complete thing you will get from CCP are complete screw ups.

In a regular interval

About similar or identical stuff

While this may be upsetting if you use the CQ, it is certainly not supprising

This whole thing is ridiculous.

If I purchased something that was incomplete or not as advertised from a store they would apologize and refund my money or give me a replacement, or offer to fix it.

If CCP sold cars they would come with a sign that says "coming soon" where the tires should be.

I don't see why we shouldn't get what we paid for.

and your car would fail to restart 50% of the time after you refill the gas tank....

although room temperature is closely related to the IQ of many of the forum whiners.
