As the Mac version is not really working at the minute, I bought Parallels 9 and Windows 7 as I heard that it worked okay,

I am running a MB Retina so no issues with performance from the hardware just the idiot attached to it.

Any ideas on how to get it working, I copied the files from my old PC (current working version) to the Program Files (x86) folder on the Parallels.

It runs the launcher okay and I can enter my u/n and p/w but I get the icon in the taskbar for the eve app but it just says not responding in the task manager.

Any help from whizzkids please.

If you only copied over the program files folder, then you're probably missing some dependent files. My suggestion would be to do a full install through the VM.

I'm running EVE through Parallels 9 as well.

------Edit------

Also, I would suggest doing this; it will likely be helpful in the future:

1. Start Parallels Desktop but do not start your virtual machine
2. In Parallels Desktop menu bar go to Window -> Virtual machines list
3. Right-click on Windows virtual machine -> Configure
4. Go to Hardware tab -> Boot order
5. In the 'Boot flags' field type in: video.dx_cmp=0
6. Close the Configure window and start your Virtual machine

This will resolve a problem where the VM will crash if you attempt to go into character customization.
