Speaking of countering a T3 on a HS hole..I am curious about mechanics in regards to this. IRT a T3 camping a HS exit, couldnt one have a alt toon tag him once with a gun to set off the limited engagement timer then jump to the HS side of the hole to cut off retreat without fear of concord (because of the limited engagement timer) while the other ships kill him in the WH?

Unfortunately aggression mechanics make it so that if anyone engages someone on the wh side of the highsec hole that they will not incur a limited engagement timer because there are no security status changes involved.

Unless you are suggesting that the alt toon gets popped by CONCORD. Even then, if your main jumps through to track him, any further aggression will result in more CONCORD face melting.

CCP ignore me please, I make too much sense.

Please dear sir - feel free to look up his daring exploits on a different kb and prove my conclusions wrong. I gave the investigation the time and resources it deserved. If your best defense of the lad's position is that I chose battleclinic in lieu of another kb... then I shall declare my victory and take my prize.

BTW one of my sponsors (I can't say which one) gives me 10 million isk every time someone to types battleclinic on these forums. I grow fat and rich on your disdain.

All I have to offer is my previously stated 7 point platform. I prefer to be judged on my platform, not on my choice of battleclinic.

I'm not taking space fairy out of your notes. It's just not going to happen. I don't care about your kb anymore (I've moved on) or what fleets you're flying in. Your character is space fairy to me (think dead).

conclusions:

1. proteus/legion on a HS wh - RISK AVERSE
2. uber T3 fleets - RISK AVERSE
2.14159. neutral alt posting - fun..... err..... RISK AVERSE
3. RISK AVERSE - space fairy
4. RISK AVERSE - boring and a self healing wound
5. geddons - Fozzy ruined a classic eve pvp vehicle
6. ENYO ONLY THURSDAYS IN WH SPACE - just a little too awesome to comprehend

Anything else does not pertain to the spirit of this thread.

COME AT ME BRO

So now I've had my fun I'm curious - with all this talk of risk aversion what ships do you fly besides 15m ISK Enyos?

I advocate using Enyos in C5-6 Wolf-Rayets with logi and OGB support, does that make me awesome or a space fairy?

My risk aversion is using a neutral alt to post this stuff (try to keep up).

The enyo only thursday is about getting you out of your T3 uber fleet and flying a ship that isn't risk averse by design. I can see how you mindset won't let you get beyond petty stone throwing, but please take a look at the enyo. It's a blaster frigate that is built to brawl.

It's about the style of engagement and sadly your twin brother Gypsio immediately wants to put it in a wolfe rayet with logi so it can be near invincible. (Yeah he just got labelled 'Space Fairy' too).

I've said it before and I'll say it again..... Sheesh

COME AT ME BRO (but with logi, in a wolfe rayet, in an assault frig - may as well bring an off grid booster too...sigh)

Don't forget the corp rules demand you to have an archon on stand-by.

OMG, there are corps with corp rules on what you have to have on standby? I hadn't considered this. I was blaming pilots as individuals for risk aversion. It never occurred to me that there could be corp doctrine requiring it's pilots to be risk averse. Are you alluding that there are corp/alliance leaders so wrapped up in their stats that they dictate risk aversion? I know some pilots who surely love dictate (giggle), but who in their right mind would stay bound to a corporate/alliance ethos that favors kb statistics over actual fun??

This game never ceases to amaze me. Rise up sheeples, wipe the dictate from your lips and be heard. Demand fun fleets!! Who is with me!??!?

2 things to note at this point.

1 - It's really hard to work the dictate joke into a random forum thread. I desire more appreciation for my expertise.

2 - Heck yeah, it's about fun! The possible butthurt insinuation cracks me up. Bored, not really, it's a busy time of the year for me. It's more of a public service to point out to folks where they are going in the wrong direction. Will they listen? I doubt it.... Jack what do you think? They don't listen to Jack, so I doubt they will listen to me. (no this is not a Jack alt)

3 - Some days it's better to just google xkcd, hit random and get lost for the rest of the day.

G - I'm not the best counter.

Working together in wh-space means pulling on the same rope, and having fun by working as a team. A couple doctrines are always good to have if you want to do actual non-ganking pvp, if people don't shoot back, your approach is totally viable though.
Else, I enjoy the doctrine-approach and everything that comes along with it... Mostly:
*How many Enyos do we need? 32? k, that's one freighter, will have them inside in an hour* (fit doesn't matter, cause all fleetenyos are identical)

put that in your address bar, hit enter, follow instructions.
