Hey guiz,

So I know they discussed the possibility of players running New Player Training Sessions, was wondering how one would go about volunteering for that.

I can't find it anywhere.

/facepalm

I have deliberately developed an air of cynicism that I originally intended to make me appear somewhat louche and caddish but actually comes across as irritable hostility combined with the unspoken threat of sudden violence.....

They (CCP) are running the first month (or so) of them. If people get on board, then they might start having player-run sessions.

With that said -> after the session is over, the channel is unlocked, and it becomes another Q&A channel like "Help" or "Rookie Help" (just with a lot less trash, because CCP and ISD are watching it).

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

I think it's called Eve University, and it's been going for five years or so?

They suck at teaching PvP.

While I don't disagree in the least, I strongly doubt there's any good way of selecting a player or group of players to teach it.

Sadly EvEuni docent accept every new player. When i was new years ago i did apply and was rejected because i was too knowledgeable about game... They tough i was spy. In reality im very very good at reading and there's tons of stuff to read about eve online...

So i do welcome the new player training channel. Even if ccp sucks at teaching it is better then nothing...
