Why does SOMER stink because CCP gave them stuff? I mean, I understand (kinda) people upset with CCP, but why be upset with SOMER? If you were unfairly offered free stuff, are you 100% sure you'd say no?

Tbh, the best way to "protest" this is to hold "legit" (i.e. actually cleared with CCP) raffles for in game assets via GTC's.

Once the Non-RMT RMT (and double speak) becomes a sufficient problem, CCP will be forced to deal with it or sanction it.

This is most likely just a troll but I'll bite anyway.

Like it has already been pointed out, SOMER didn't do anything wrong. The whole ishukone scorpion fiasco (assuming that's what this is about) was CCP's mistake and SOMER is not responsible.

If you're not an authorized GTC reseller, you pretty much can't do this.

So become an authorized GTC reseller. Also, as has been mentioned somewhere in that particular thread: In certain countries (The US in particular) it is illegal to restrict the resale of products purchased from a wholesale distributor, and there are GTC wholesale distributors (bottom of the page).

And if they don't allow it, make a big stink. That's how you get corporations and bureaucracies to change in real life. But that takes effort, and for most people (such as myself) it's not worth it. Nonetheless, if you care enough about the issue, there is an avenue available to you.

Just my 2 isk.
