Pilot Ronin, please continue. I find your arguments entirely heartwarming.

You speak for a majority of Matari pilots, not just the ones you fly with, that share equal concern over the matters presented by you.

Others seek to strike low blows here to distract from the legitimate issues you bring to show and highlight, do not consider their points with much weight.

These days, short of the slavers, very few (including our own kin) seem to understand us.

There will be justice.

Your words are wise, you too might consider following them.

To all those who think their war accomplishments put them in a category above all others.

I humbly remind you mighty warriors that a lowly miner gathered the ore that sustains you.

Lowly builders refine the ore and make the weapons and ships you fly and fight in.

A lowly freighter pilot delivers the war material to your staging areas.

Non kill mail addicted logistics pilots keep you alive long enough to win fights.

Who the hell do you think you are without us?

That question is rhetorical, you have no need to answer. The answer is obvious.
Without us, the little people. You would be pod pilots. With little more then angry words to hurl at the Amarr.

The Minmatar are not the Amarr, we all dare question each other in the fellowship of equality. As we dare question the Minmatar Republic, all the way up to the Sanmatar.

We are not a people who accept masters who proclaim themselves superior because they are better warriors. The Amarr had better weapons and conquered our ancestors, but they have never been better then us.

You may have killed more Amarr and are able to use better weapons then I can, but you are not better then me. I am a Matari, a member of the Minmatar Republic and no man or woman is better then me. I am no better then them. We are all humans and equal under the one true God of our ancestors.

I will however not fuel the joy of our enemies by having a prolonged public spat with fellow Minmatar.

Those whose posts here to me were the most arrogant and dismissive have been forum blocked. Move on. Take your list of who has a right to speak their mind elsewhere.

I wish you success in all your battles, I know who the real enemy is, and it is not you.

To some, and fairly regarded so.

But there is some merit in the man's words.

They aren't completely empty.

I never quarreled with the original proposition, neither did I agree with it for that matter, but it was well worded, succinct and thoughtful.

It is his behavior and conduct after that I and others have taken issue with.

His behavior sharply declined around the time he attempted to invent a new history for us, a barefaced lie if ever one I have seen, but there was no stop it seems and it only got worse.

The grandstanding, the belittling of others, the boasting of "ass kickings", these are the actions of a child who is resentful of being corrected.

And yet, he has the lack of a sense of irony to actually accuse his detractors, some of whom supported him orignally of boasting about their killing skills, which incidentally, none of them did. Only he boasted of killing.

And what does a child do when they are being challenged when they don't want to be challenged? They stick their fingers in their ears and try to drown out the sound.

Many children have good ideas and good intentions, the mind of a child is one of the universe's wonders. But they must learn emotional maturity, respect, patience and tolerance, or else they are doomed to frustration and failure.

I'm not angry with him, as a matter of fact like any time I see a child's potential wasted, I am disapointed.

For someone who ought to be an expert at phyrric battles, it's funny you don't recognise the price that the Federation paid over Caldari Prime for taking down a Titan that wasn't even shooting back properly.

At Coelie, on the other hand...
Right you didn't want that Titan anyway. Caldari Prime? Heck more trouble then its worth, right? The Caldari were decisively defeated. They lost control of what they had taken. Play with words all you want. In the end these facts are inescapable. The pyre was your broken Titan. The victory was Gallente's.

You'd do well to learn that harsh lesson instead of trying to poke at the battle records of others.

When you own 55% of ANY planet in the Amarr system we'll have that talk on equal terms, pilot.

You don't have to tell me what the Third Battle of Caldari Prime cost because I was there and, like everyone else there, I paid in full and up front. That it happened at all was a bankruptcy of leadership in both the State and the Federation. There should have been a negotiated settlement LONG before the Caldari were forced to throw away a Titan plus support fleet and the Federation to throw away a small mountain worth of Dreadnoughts.

But what USE did we make of that pain? It brought BOTH of our nations to their senses. We got that negotiated settlement - one that is likely to endure. We also tossed out that bankrupt leadership, we honoured our hero and we made some painful choices as a people. Can you make the same claims? How did YOUR war advance the cause of peace? What lessons did YOU learn?

I agree with Mr. Tuulinen. From the ashes of the Shiigeru emerge a promising age for both of our nations. Caldari Prime is recovering from the conflict and decades of divisions. For the first time in over a century, Gallente and Caldari are working and living side by side in a fair degree of harmony. Negotiations between the Senate and the Megacorps are beginning again.

The monstrous Tibus Heth has been ousted, while he's still fleeing, his removal from power went fairly well. Already Caldari corporations brought to the brink of bankruptcy are seeing a rebound.

As for the Gallente, Heth's invasion of Luminaire was a wake up call. For centuries our nation arrogantly played with the fate of other peoples and countries believing we were safe from retaliation. Now our society has been reformed, our military strengthened.

Tuulinen is correct, our war, while costly, at least got us somewhere. As for the Minmatar and the Amarr? A stagnate back and forth. Anything gained is instantly lost, anything lost is instantly gained.
