Since you can convert the blinks into isk with 100% if thats true and you can have CCP convert the GTC into plex which convert into isk as well you end up with:

GTC purchase -> Plex -> isk
7 dollars to Somer -> Blinks -> isk

First line legit
Second line RMT

You'll probably say well Somer would get that 7 dollars anyway but they wouldn't because they wouldn't be selling as many GTC without selling the Isk.

All this is doing is having 2 parties share in the standard margin that CCP offers GTC resellers. Sometimes those 2 parties are google and the reseller. Sometimes they are blink and the reseller. The line in the sand is where the resellers GTCs are more expensive through blink (which they aren't as far as i can see).

Some of you don't get it

SOMER is payed real cash via the GTC link/refer to Marquee Dragon GTC selling business. That itself is completly within CCP rules but by offering GTC+Bonus (read ISK in any form from EVE) SOMER gets the "little" extra referals for GTCs that means more real cash, read RMT.

Now the point is if SOMER is allowed to do so, why the hell shouldn't i do the same :)

And this opens a can of worms CCP shouldn't even think about, wait... my networth is 4chars roughly 300m skillpoints + 500billions in asset/liquid ISK (and i am not rich by any means), well that equals a very long holiday in a nice place.

Options for CCP
a) Allow everbody to "RMT" their stuff via referrals of GTCs through any endorsed website by CCP
b) Shut it down

You can guess what option CCP will choose.

They could close the GTC loop hole, clearly there is a huge market for GTC, if they close all resellers / affiliates and CCP went back to being the only source direct then problem solved.

Why not just remove GTC all together and just keep Plex but I guess that could cause the Plex market to do strange things for a while till it settles back down.

Those who want game time for isk buy Plex through the in game markets.
Those who want isk buy Plex from CCP and sell in game.

No need for GTC, all those who currently use GTC will just have to get Plex instead.

This deal does indeed have the stench of RMT associated with it. I can only assume that the appropriate people within CCP have been kept unaware or it would have been shot down already. I expect the CSM will push the issue at the summit too.

And Navigator, your endorsement of Somer Blink seems more and more out of place...
