Thank you very much. Funds have been transferred to your corporate account in separate transactions for each winning bid. Again, I apologize for being pushy; I have pressing issues all day tomorrow.

In following this thread, I found that what should have been fun for many turned into a fair bit of pettiness from some. I hope to rectify that by allocating my dates to people whose company I presume they will enjoy.

Aldrith Shutaq, it is only fitting that you should attend the event with your wife. If she should decline, then consider yourself free to spend your time as you please.

Katerina Tzestu, I noticed that Mr. Krennel was quite agitated that he was paying for a date with his own girlfriend. Please spend the evening with him and, if you value him, remember to consider his feelings next time.

I'm sorry I wasn't able to win an evening with Cardinal Graelyn. I imagine his stories would have been truly entertaining.

As for the bid on Ms. Lianne, I had hoped to settle the pettiness between Mr. Ellis and Mr. Torpedo by outbidding them both. Congratulations to the winner. Both of you, however, have acted like immature boys. Perhaps if either of you showed Ms. Lianne how valuable she is to you with your hearts, you might not have to try to do so with your wallets.

As a Goon, I can not help but admire how you destroyed the spirit of the auction and screwed over most other bidders. I congratulate you on that.

In addition, it's amazingly easy how this process could have been corrupted. Had I been willing to do so, I could have won everyone, with the exception of Ms. Lianne, with merely my 200m isk bid.

Ms Marquette,

I believe I have shown a great deal of restraint during this fund-raiser. Whilst Norrin Ellis felt the need to make a personal attack on me within the opening few hours of the auction; dragging my personal relationships into an event designed to raise funds for several worthy causes, I managed to uphold the spirit of the event and ignored the childish comments made. I could have flamed him back, quite easily, with the amount of dirt I have on him, but I didn't - primarily out of respect for Shalee. Instead, I adhered to the rules of the auction, by placing bids in direct competition to Mr Ellis, in an attempt to win Shalee as my date for the Ball. Was that not the general idea behind this whole fund-raiser? At what point, Ms Marquette, did my conduct become immature?

Secondly, I'm appalled by other 'upstanding' members of the community, who have chosen to join the debate about my past in some pathetic attempt to derail this thread. I may not be very popular within the community, but the opinions of those that don't even know me, are frankly of little relevance in these proceedings.

I therefore argue that my contribution to this event has been nothing but professional, and in a manner befitting the spirit of this event. Did I argue with Norrin, Lasa, or anyone else that publicly sought to insult or belittle me? No, I didn't. Nor shall I. I may be defending myself now, but only so far as to exclaim my disgust at the manner in which some people conduct themselves during a harmless fund-raising event.

I came here for one reason; to bid on Shalee. My motives, if I were to have any, are completely irrelevant. I care little as to why people would bid on the other volunteers, so I ask what made my desire to win Shalee a valid topic for public speculation. However, as a side note, it may interest you to know that I have already transferred the funds, however, as opposed to simply expecting Shalee to accompany me, I have sent her an official invitation asking her to join me.

In closing, I think it's a shame that several people choose to embarrass themselves by slinging insults, and dragging up personal vendettas in the middle of such an exciting auction. As a proud and loyal member of the Amarrian militia, I'm pleased to contribute my ISK to this, and further, will be excited to see how the alliance and militia benefits from the money raised. I therefore suggest that we stand together and congratulate the winners of this auction, instead of using personal information to mask a particularly unpleasant case of sour grapes.

You miss the point. Ms. Lianne was counting on that. It was genius pitting those two against each other. She walked away with a lot more money than she would have otherwise. You need to crank your cynicism meter up a few notches.

I leave it Sister Lianne to address the question as to charities besides her corporation, but one of the Charities will be announced soon. Perhaps the November 7th event would be the best place to do so. Sister Lianne and Director Nicoletta Mithra, can we talk off IGS about when to do the announcement ?

Forgive me if I am wrong, but if an event is truly for charity the charity ought to be advertised throughout the event, if not taking precedence.

This entire thing seemed like ego fulfillment to me.

I don't agree with the toaster.

Usually, though, where the funds are going is announced in advanced.

A fool and their money are soon parted. Lol

There better be a series of dates and intimate after-sessions for the price you're paying.

I'd say you're being ripped off if not.

P.S. If all you're looking for is an intimate capsuleer escort and lover, you're barking up the wrong trees.

I truly hope not! It was supposed to happen November 9th or 10th but I am still eagerly awaiting details!
