Okay, New Guy, let me break this down to you:

NPC null space is like low sec with warp disruptor bubbles and but no security status hits, so where someone might not shoot you in low because there are station or gate guns nearby, they don't worry about that in NPC null:

They just shoot you.

Curse, where OUCH lives, is considered one of the most dangerous regions of null sec in new Eden. You don't have to take my word of it, you can search for Dotlan Maps, Statistics and see for yourself. This week, it's Number 1.

Right now, TRIBE and TEST are two SOV alliances who have come out to Curse to rebuild, refresh, renew themselves? Lots of other SOV alliances and corporations are out here too, trying to get a piece of them. Razor, RED Alliance, Pizza, Black Legion and Pandemic Legion head the list of the more famous.

Since the locals don't like SOV alliances, it's gotten very exciting. Very, very exciting.

And OUCH? We're teaching null survival right smack dab in the middle of it all. Big smile

We pretty much fail at being forum tigers...
I guess that's part of the reason we are still one of New Eden's best kept secrets.

So if you are looking for a structured environment to learn the ways of 0-sec dwellers.
OUCH is just the place for you.
We teach all the needed skills to do barrelrolls, backflips and God knows what more to escape your adversaries.
OUCH's prime focus is on 0-sec survival with a sniff of pvp to top it off.

We excell at that, we truly do.
No hidden agenda, SP requirements, interviews, we are an Open University after all.

Looking forward to greet you in corpchat, no scratch that we actually hate corpchat...
The students that run our complete course are typically the ones that make it over to TS.
So a working headset, Ts3 and the willingness to learn are actually the only requirements I can think of.

Regards, Dio

L.S.

Most EVE players know there is a certain code of conduct amongst spacewarriors.
One versus one's should always be honoured.
The use of ECM during fights is considered unmanly tactics.
Real PVP'ers roam instead of sitting at a gatecamp for hours on end.
Man hold their ground, even if this means they are outnumbered by a 2:1 or even worse ratio.
You could say this is the way of spacebushido.
If a pilot for whatever reason fails to live up to rules like some I mentioned above.
He or she should start the act of seppuku immediately.
This is the only way to save your face in the cold harsh universe that is New Eden.

OUCH is very often accused of ignoring those terms.
But then again OUCH does not care if a neutral pilot is ECM'd to death.
OUCH does not mind to flee the field like chickens chased by the fox.
OUCH pilots are rather lazy and prefer their targets warping in.
The typical OUCH pilot has never heard of the Battle of Thermopylae.
And last but not least, the typical OUCH pilot just loves the colourfull terms and expressions
pop into local after the succesfull destruction of spaceships on their behalve.
I guess everyone plays his own EVE.

OUCH's behaviour can be summarized into the will to control the battlefield.
We like to fight on our terms.
After all our motto is; "Kill more, die less".

So there you have it, the main focus of OUCH is survival first and foremost.
That and awareness, know your limitations and theirs.

In short, don't fly stupid.

There are a lot of corps out there. Universities and academies abound. Most of them will tell you that they are going to teach you. Most of them are just holding corps for rookies so they can filter out the idiots.

Most of those self same corporations will tell you that they won't waste your time with stuffy lectures, they'll point you to some posts someplace and then tell you that you should learn by doing. Have you jump into cruisers with substandard skills and fly in a large gang where you're just a number, or put you in frigate tackle and tell you you're supposed to die in a ball of fire.

We think that they are doing it all wrong. What?

The road to survival comes much easier in a structured environment, where you get told how to do it, then shown how to do it, take time to practice what you've learned before you go out and prove it to yourself. OUCH has talented instructors who take time out from aggressively pursuing kills on the kill board to take the time to teach new players how to travel in null sec.

We're not telling you learning by doing is impossible. We're just saying that it's a lot easier when your teachers actually teach.

I've been in HiSec most of my time in Eve... but I've always wanted to venture into more dangerous waters to search for greater riches. However, I was pretty sure I'd die in a ball of fire if I tried to step foot in Null. While poking around the forums, I found these guys and joined up.

The 0UCH staff are very professional, and their course is well organized. I found everyone in the corp to be friendly, helpful and dedicated to teaching people the ways of Null and PvP. If you want to get into PvP, learn how to travel in Null or if you're just curious on what goes on 'out there', you can't go wrong in joining 0UCH.

I recently graduated from 0UCH, and although I'm pretty sure I'll die in a fire every now and then, I now have the knowledge to make them work harder for that kill. This training has opened up new avenues of gameplay for me, and I'm happy I took the time to work through their course.

You have nothing to lose. Join 0UCH and go have some fun!

Don't let this be your Eve legacy. The statement quoted above summarizes my Eve experience prior to joining OUCH. I spent time in several nul sec corps but ultimately nul was just a dark, scary place. My nul experience wasn't good, so I spent most of my Eve playtime in hi-sec. Over time, I became increasingly bored, frustrated with hi-sec ganking/griefing, and I seriously considered just quitting Eve.

OUCH showed me that skills, while beneficial, aren't all that important. The real power comes from knowledge and experience. OUCH shares this knowledge and when this knowledge is put into practice, confidence and experience are gained. Students that make it into nul, and pvp with OUCH, post more kills than losses. Students who complete the program are not fresh meat, or an easy kill. They know how to survive when odds are not in their favor.

Join OUCH, let us show you how to survive in nul sec.

What !?! You're not enrolled yet ? What are you waiting for?

If you have a working TS client, an interest in learning , and a willingness to follow our few rules, we will accept you as a student. No skillpoint requirement, no api check, no interview, no cost to you, and trial accounts are welcome. Basically we accept everyone, just apply and start learning how to survive in null.

Well, my Winter Holiday has just begun and in between revising some training plans, teaching new students, writing a few blog posts, doing some diplomacy, ducking into FW plexes and wormholes looking for trouble, catching a couple of blue roams, doing a hotdrop or three, my plans are generally to Kill More and Die Less in Hard Mode until the New Year.

How 'bout you? :D
