Well, it seems my bid didn't stand. Win some. Lose some.

Shalee, I do hope we're still on for that spa day we discussed, preferably before your calendar is all booked up with the time you now owe the winner.

Bid's lower than the current highest bid isn't valid. I do believe that Alizabeth Ves will stand by her word.

Wow! that was quite the flurry of bidding. Sister Shalee, to be helpful, here's the final Tally of all bids up to the 21:59 timestamp, subject to your review and approval:

Lunarisse Aspenstar: 600 million isk by Tahir Altol

Before I transfer the funds, I'd like to ask if I am allowed to assign my dates to other persons. I was hoping to land an evening with the venerable Cardinal Graelyn. The other bids were placed because I thought the people up for auction might like to accompany specific people other than the highest bidders.

Have to admit, that's some impressive bidding numbers. The charities and corporations that fall under your wing will be very pleased with the high turnouts! May this bring them prosperity for a long time to come!

Followed the auctions and learned some more things about the participants here, always a good thing in case I meet any of you out in space or at a gathering.

22.1 billion on shalee, but not a single care for the well being of his children? Hmm, I'm glad we are no longer in your life, tiger. Enjoy his pathetic attempts at romance, shalee.

You'd know a lot about being pathetic I suppose.

You're certainly pathetic enough to vent your grievances at a public fundraising event.

I must admit, this has been very interesting to watch. Not the most dignified thing I've done, as Lt. Rekmus so graciously pointed out, but for the cause of the Empire playing along with a slightly impish court game is well worth the cost. I'll leave it up to the auction organizers to rule on Ms. Marquette's terms. I do not mind either way.

This auction has been closed for several hours, and I would like to send payment. I would, however, like the organizer to answer my question first.

Pardon my impatience, but if this transaction is not completed before I go to bed tonight, in approximately an hour, I will not have time tomorrow to complete it.

I'm not sure you if you'll count me as an official organizer, but I would believe that you could do whatever you wanted with the time won: Take it for yourself, give it to someone else, or forfeit it and just consider the bid a donation.

Unfortunately, only Shalee Lianne really has any authority to define the rules--or announce official winners, for that matter. I appreciate your efforts to clarify my concerns, but I must say that I find it to be awful business and a bit rude for the auctioneer to ignore the close of the auction for this length of time.

Had the auctioneer intended to abandon her attention to the thread, it might have been helpful if she had designated some administrator to speak in her stead.

I find Lunarisse has done an outstanding job of tallying the final bids. I appreciate the effort, Luna.

Anymore questions?

Thank you very much. Funds have been transferred to your corporate account in separate transactions for each winning bid. Again, I apologize for being pushy; I have pressing issues all day tomorrow.

In following this thread, I found that what should have been fun for many turned into a fair bit of pettiness from some. I hope to rectify that by allocating my dates to people whose company I presume they will enjoy.

Aldrith Shutaq, it is only fitting that you should attend the event with your wife. If she should decline, then consider yourself free to spend your time as you please.

Katerina Tzestu, I noticed that Mr. Krennel was quite agitated that he was paying for a date with his own girlfriend. Please spend the evening with him and, if you value him, remember to consider his feelings next time.

I'm sorry I wasn't able to win an evening with Cardinal Graelyn. I imagine his stories would have been truly entertaining.

As for the bid on Ms. Lianne, I had hoped to settle the pettiness between Mr. Ellis and Mr. Torpedo by outbidding them both. Congratulations to the winner. Both of you, however, have acted like immature boys. Perhaps if either of you showed Ms. Lianne how valuable she is to you with your hearts, you might not have to try to do so with your wallets.

I cannot tell you how much I appreciate this! I had agreed to participate while before we got together sadly, and I could not decline at the last minute. I will, of course, gladly take your advice, and I will also have to owe you.

Impressive turnout! These numbers are certainly the hallmark of a successful fundraiser, even if a vast majority of it was a bidding war by two snubbed lovers.
