No. This is now a thread regarding my ignorance.

9/10... -1 for trying to derail the topic.

I like it.

The look of a petite and cheerful lady.

Even the little tattoo looks good.
Bright, shiney and cute - 9/10.

EDIT: darnit, a guy just popped in before me :D - above notice is for Miss Fey.

On that note, finally a male avatar with some charisma, I approve.
Not a fan of the background however, I think with a different one you'd nail it a little more.

Still - 8.5/10.

I like the tattoo. The hair is a little to short for my taste. I do however like the pose, it isn't very generic. 9.5/10 because of the hair.

And I for the life of me can not find a background that matches better. Halp!

Already rated.

@ Neesha Marinn: how about rating back the people who bother themselves to rate others? Roll

I rate, I respond as well.

On that note:

Very asian: slender, short yet fashionable hair, yet very 'un-asian' booblets :D

I like it apart from 2 things. The background doesn't do you any favors (I've read your argument as to why you chose it), your tummy looks fine.
I would personally make the eyes a little more dreamy, squint them just a teensie bit more and it would be fabulous.

8/10.

I like it a hell of a lot, I’ll admit. Whilst a tiny tilt towards the camera of the head might have allowed a hint of a “I caught you looking” moment, the lighting plus the tattoo adds a certain moodiness to the picture which makes Neesha seem somewhat alone and aloof… In other words a darned good mood piece.

A woman with cohones, and ginger too!

Approve!
The only things I would probably tweak are a little darker, shaded lighting, brows to match your awesome chestnut colored hair and perhaps a slight different coloration on the lipstick.

Sounds like a lot of critique, but don't misread me.

May I suggest or recommend some of the more industrial looking, rusty backgrounds? One that comes in the color flavor of your vest good sir.

Very, very "girl next door"... which is a moot merit for a character living 23,000 years in the future. P

I like the angle, albeit it's more like a "surveilance/security camera" angle than an actual portrait. The piercing, I don't like piercings nor tattoos, but I'll have to give it a go for the secodn time today... Will say 7.5/10 without penalty for the piercing, but all in all the image is bit dull.

One image is worth 1,000 words... and something is horribly wrong with that middle sectionBlink

And, Asian? Why do people insist calling her Asian? i picture her as middle eastern (which geographically, it's Asian, but not Asian as in far-eastern Asian. Blue eyes and large cups are perfectly compatible with her being Lebanese, Syrian or whatever, even without almond eyes)

Quite an asian look I must say.
Tom-boyish but not sure what is going on with the pose .
Kinda like.

Very bright background and plenty of light, no omnious shadows, yet you manage to come off impressive. You got a very brutor-like (muscled) build. Clearly an older man who looks afetr his physique.
You also make the glasses work and I like your eyes! The frown/wink seems to say *You ain't seen nothin' yet!*

9/10, because you took on a creative approach on your character, not often one sees an impressive older male avatar with a bright background & light.

Jandice! Long time no see you! Easily my favorite redhead, my favorite freckled redhead and my favorite smile... alas! Something went amiss when you redid your portrait and your smile is not so special in its current form, but yours is easily one of the most disctintive and upbeat avatars in game. Only way to imrpove is not on your hand -no blue clothing in this game.

Will say 9.5/10 because of Jandice, hope to see your smile back some day! Lol

Haha, thanks for the very kind compliments Big smile And I'm aware of my (lesser) smile but it seems there's been some change with the character-editor Ugh Probably something minor, but haven't been able to recreate my smile, still trying from time to time however. (Edit, think I mentioned this already somewhere... prolly in this very thread, sorry for repeating)

I do enjoy your current look, it's not really for everyday use, but it has a classy vibe over it, almost like you're doing photoshoots in a long black dress instead of the regular black shirt. The darkness of your pic actually helps to reinforce that tought by making the shirt less obvious.
All in all, has a very classy 'dress code required' feel to it. 9/10 because of making it feel like you wear a dress. Keep up your creativity! Love to know with what you'll come up next with!

Dang rating high Shockednot one of my habits to do. But I guess people got alot better with the character-editor over the years wich is neat!

I'd say 8/10, I like the avatar because even w/ a common hairstyle it seems a tad different somehow. Maybe it's because your char is actually smiling as the above poster mentioned.

Testing my new avatar, had to ditch the downward look due to the new eye bling and haven't found the best way to showcase it. Have to keep my right arm visible though in preperation for my sweet cybernetic arm later in Nov. =D

Thanks for the compliment ,ma'am.
Actually , he is a young gallante with a genetic disease called Werner syndrome.
He's 24 but looks 50.

Now BACK to your portrait ...

Hmm... interesting , VERY light makeup , kinda girl-next doorish but still entrepreneurial and confident.
Doesn't comply with any known models of portrait making or female anatomy...
One : She's a feminist
Two : Her self-esteem is off the charts and won't go off stabbing needles to resculpt their faces at the doctor for a plex.

8.5/10

Portraits with a mini tale.

With your description the avatar makes sense.
Initially I found it a tad too polished for a bearded fella, but you explained what's going on and with that said I'll rate you a 8/10.

The only thing I am not convinced with is the background.

The hair.. for some reason it turns off the whole portrait for me. Everything else is great. And I took your advice and changed by background. Yay or nay?

Still a 9/10.. because of the hair.

It's a major improvement, your avatar is much less static. Adds a certain warmth which was much needed.

As for my hair, I'm stubborn.

It makes my avatar look so fresh and light!
I appreciate the feedback though, but I love how Jade turned out, she reminds me of someone Big smile
