I've been blapping lots of angel clone soldier rats for income. what i noticed is that if i fall within 24km of them i get 'warp scrambled' and I have to pulse my MWD to puill range.

that says warp disruptor though. is this the same for all rats or just a small bug with the clone soldiers?

Why would it be a bug? They are supposed to be tougher than just normal rats and can point/web you, just like elite rats do.

[edit]or are you saying that even tho it says 'scrambled', they are only disrupting you (thus allowing you to use your MWD)? It's always been like that. NPCs don't scram (afaik).

yeah, i wondered if it was supposed to be 'warp disrupted' rather than scrambled. a long point from a rat poses virtually no threat if you have MWD fitted.

The game states scrabbled no matter the type of device used, this is the same in player interactions as well.
NPC ships to my knowledge only have disruptor's and not scramblers.

Look at the color of the warp scramble icon. light blue = warp disrupt, darker blue = wap scram. The difference is very subtle. Would be nice if they just changed warp scram to red, and warp disrupt to blue.
