Old turrets, new POS, won't anchor

Hi guys,

So a while ago, I had a POS set up at a moon. Then the POS was destroyed, but the turrets are still there.

I fully repaired the turrets so that none of them are incapacitated any more, they are all showing "anchored".

I tried to anchor a new POS and it won't anchor. I get a message saying it won't anchor because the turrets are still there. But I can't remove the turrets without a POS.

Do I have to destroy my own turrets in order to anchor a new POS tower?

thanks,
Dragon.

If there is no control tower and they cannot be unanchored, then they are bugged (it happens), and you can either petition or destroy them.

I'd try a stuck petition first.

I know you said you repped them ... but did you take care of the hull too?

Ben ages since dealing with Incap'd POS things, don't remember if incap was armour to 100% or if you had to get the 1% of hull back too ...

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

Yes, I had to repair the hull. I was able to un-anchor them now.

POS is back up and running with double the defenses.

thanks for the help guys.
