You are forcing people to stop pvping after a loss and go generate isk by running missions here.

The idea is to keep them logged in, engaged in the game and pvping in affordable ships as long as possible.

you speak about Counter-Strike PvP style don't you? yes, it's a lot more friendly to players.

Let's see, we have to work for plexes, we have to work for implants, we have to work for pvp ships and modules, we have to work for clones... wait a second! This was a game right? Big smile

No no! this should only be on pods that people have gotten from the super ultra collectors edition 2.0 that costs $500 USD!

Girls Girls, youre both pretty. Anyways, pods aren't the issue here. Please lets keep this on the real topic. Yes, I am aware of the irony associated with this statement coming from me.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

20, 30, 40 milions ISK are nothing for any character with 50+ milions SP. Hell, it's nothing even for my explorer alt with 20 milions SP, needs 20 minutes to earn it.

So I should be able to undock and in 20 minutes earn 45.5 million? Every single time?[/quote]

Noooo, not you of course, as long time customer you deserve a special treatment and free loss replacements...

But for the general gameplay, yes, is how EVE works.

Again, pennies. 20M for a 100M SP clone is ridiculous (and, I'm sorry, the game cannot be tailored for people buying 100-200M sp characters on eBay and then unable to support it properly).

This is a very peculiar aspect of EVE, is not like LoL, WoT or Planetside.

We know in EVE death penalities are something evaluable. Nobody is "happy" when is his turn, but have to be so; it's a game, and this what make the difference. We can say it's too harsh, and ask (because this is the true point) to soft or remove consequences, and in the short term can sound like a good idea: "wow, le'ts frag for free and no worries!" but is not healthy for the gameplay on a middle/long term.

Go figure lobbying to have these consequences removed just for specific subsets of players...
