"This week in EVE" is a weekly overview of EVE Online related news and events and shows what is going on in EVE Online. The focus of this overview is on official news from CCP: For example, dev blogs and important forum posts by CCP developers, the ever evolving background story and upcoming events. The summary of the previous week 41/2013 can be found here. Available is also the overview 2013

  • Featured Fansite: Fleet-Up
    • CCP Gargant presents in his "Featured Fansite" spotlight the support site Fleet-Up. This tool allows you to manage operations, fittings and fleets. You can also share fleet set-ups and create shopping lists according to the fleet layouts - check out Fleet-Up.

  • New mirror on test server Singularity
    • CCP Habakuk made everyone happy when he announced that a new TQ mirror will be deployed on the test server Singularity. After a short interruption by a TQ patch, next week Singularity will be updated again to Rubicon with additional features. Check out also the Rubicon section below.

  • New and more music?
    • While the current EVE Online music and soundtracks are awesome, CCP WhiteNoiseTrash reminds that before considering deploying new music in game first the question of how to deliver that music and how it fits into the current production plans needs to be answered.

  • Cybernetic arm as part of the Collector's Edition
    • The Cybernetic arm is part of the EVE Online: The Second Decade Collector's Edition. CCP Doom explains that this arm is the same as any other body modification; you can wear it, keep it or trade it - but you cannot tattoo it.

  • New character selection screen with new audio
    • The new character selection screen introduced with the Rubicon winter expansion will also have new audio and a voice that was missed by many!

  • EVE TV to cover EVE Vegas
    • EVE TV will cover all the presentations of this year's EVE Vegas. Don't miss these exciting presentations with such prominent participants as CCP Pokethulu and CCP Guard. The broadcast is live on October 19th from 17:00 to 02:00 UTC and October 20th from 17:00 to 22:00 UTC on the CCP twitch.tv channel. Tune in!

  • Attaching InterBus Customs Offices in Hisec
    • You will only receive a PvE timer when you attack InterBus Customs Offices in Hisec once Rubicon is deployed. CONCORD doesn't care about InterBus, neither do the faction navy/police.

  • New Player Training Sessions overview and QA
    • The New Player Training Sessions started at October 15 and CCP Eterne with team presented in his first session an introduction to Modules. You can find an overview of the sessions in above thread and comment or ask questions there.

  • Is it an exploit? In doubt ask the Game Masters!
    • If you have doubt if something you are planning to do might be an exploit, please ask first our Game Masters via support ticket! It might save you a lot of trouble.
