Three billion on myself!

Oooooo, I'm going to have fun tonight!

I'll keep this thread in mind the next time an Imperial tries to ridicule the Federation for people selling themselves.

Five billion? Is that a serious bid?

If not, I may make a bid myself! Maybe two because I want to be wined and dined by Pilot Shutaq as well!

While it galls me to actually be bidding ISK for a date with my own girlfriend...

25 million on Katerina Tzestu.

So far I see one serious bid, one pathetic attempt by someone to give their life value, and several jokes.
The average earning potential of a capsuleer in high security space is around forty million ISK in an hour. In null security space that increases to around two hundred million ISK per hour. Payments to the militia can vary widely, but can be around two hundred million as well, although average would be one hundred million per hour. Industry income is not nearly as high, but has the advantage of being 'fire and forget.' Profits from industry for a pilot skilled in manufacture are around two hundred million ISK in a twenty four hour period. The last method of income, station trading, from what I can tell, involves black magic. Those successful at it are fantastically wealthy.
The point is, if you are going to bid to spend a couple of hours with someone, lowballing that number serves to insult them. I know I would be if someone only valued my time at twelve and a half million ISK per hour.
To that end, I will put in bids of two hundred million ISK for each pilot listed, with the exception of Ms. Lianne. While it would be interesting to see if I can beat Mr. Ellis, I am not going to try out of fear that I can.

Thanks for the lesson in economics. If I stopped fighting the enemy long enough to make any money, I might be able to avoid lowballing.

I don't believe I have the means to compete with Mr Ellis. His pockets are, alas, much deeper than mine.

If I had the ISK....

A shame it's only open to Amarrian volunteers to be bid on, however.

In a few moments you will have an experience that will seem completely real. It will be the result of your subconscious fears transformed to your conscious awareness.

Yes, my bid is serious. Ms. Lianne is an old friend, and she had previously mentioned her fundraising goals for this event. I wanted to ensure that goal was met.

Could you try to convince someone named Anslo Tetua to participate in this... thing as a volunteer? Say, with essential 25% increase of bids, that would go straight into your own pocket for personal needs, if you will manage to convince him.
Oh, and with 25% more increase of bids, just for your own pocket again, if the highest bidder would be able to choose place and time without any restrictions.
After all, it is all just simply for fun. What worst could happen?...

Y'know if you really wanted to hit your target, you should have convinced Admiral Blake to participate.

I can only imagine the astronomical sums of isk that would be bid for a night with his charming, charismatic persona.

I don't see anything in the original setup, whereby it is suggested it is for a "couple of hours".

Thus, my bid of 25M for Graelyn is hardly insulting.

I would expect a dance, a witty story, a kiss on the cheek and a few socially acceptable lies such as "you look lovely" or "I had a wonderful time, I am only sorry it must come to an end" and so on and so forth.

Not a multiple hour performance from an exotic dancer as you seem to be suggesting.

Or maybe I am insulting Graelyn. No worse than anyone else does though.
