Well after having a look around and with all the current changing to the ships stats/slots/bonuses (yes I got screwed with the Caldari one...Torp 5 is just 2 days away...well ****).

What I'm wondering is what sort of loadouts are people going to think about running in their new gank boats? I'm just wanting to get an idea of which way to 'swing' with new training now that my torp plan got scrapped. What type of guns are you going to be using and why? Are 1400's good for the Tornado or would 800's be better?

Any insight would be good. Yes I know stats are liable to change but still hunting for info, if it's been discussed I may of missed it (posting from my mobile) so please just direct me with a link and I will be very appreciative.

Regards

1400s will be used on the Tornado by people in the Clusterfuck Coalition (Goonswarm Federation and our allies), for the purpose of being a much cheaper and equally capable Maelstrom, with regards to "gank" effectiveness and on-paper damage throughput to a specific target. That's fancy talk for "We're going to suicide gank everything we can find with these things."

If you want a solid PVP ship, train for the Tornado with both 1400mms and 800mms (Actually, you don't REALLY need to train for 1400mms T2, named ones are still dealing a crapton damage). T2 800mms are a prerequisite, you need Barrage ammunition to really use this ship.

The Naga is a solid hybrid platform. It can dish out a respectable amount of damage with Railguns (3500mms T2 with short range T2 ammo). And if you fit blasters on it, prepare for a ship that can deal up to 1k DPS at up to 30km with blasters. And even more in webrange.

The Oracle looks like a pure beast to me. Didn't check the amount of EHP you can get, but 70km with Scorch Pulses and 770 DPS, it looks like pure awesomness to me.

Oh and also, they look cool.
