I say you go to Jita, fit out a smart bomb bs. Load the cargo hold with some relatively cheap shinnies. Then go about 50k off the undock and announce in local that you are frustrated and quitting and giving away all your stuff away. Start ejecting the shinnies one at a time. Once you get a crowd activate the smart bombs and go down in blaze of glory.

I don't play, I just fourm warrior.

EDIt: you have zero kills and two losses.

Get involved in PVP.

It's the only part of this game that is actually good.

This. I used to be a mission runner in high-sec for a couple of months and eventually unsubbed out of boredom. It was only after finding a low-sec piracy blog that I got interested in EVE again, joined a noob-friendly low-sec PvP corp and haven't looked back since.

70mil will get you a nice little stack of properly fitted T1 frigates to go and shoot stuff with. Looking forward to meeting you Pirate

I haven't even tried a fraction of these.

There's real reasons why your Eve character doesn't do /dance.

Have you considered the amusing field of Role Playing? The New Order of Hisec is a very welcoming group. Bump or gank miners for fun and profit all while meeting new people. Sure those new people will spew all sorts of vile hate at you, but hisec is worth saving. Lots of ways to get started and a lot of agents of the Order willing to help a new bro get going. See http://www.minerbumping.com/ for more details.

Today is (literally) your four-month mark in the game; you started on 6/17/13.
Get out there and get in fights! Look into joining RvB, as they are generally Frigate-based PvP: it's inexpensive, and is a lot of fun.

Barring that, even if you don't want to necessarily get involved with PvP, get into an actual player corp. You were in one for only a few days previously, being in NPC corps the overwhelming majority of your time. Being in a corp with others who have active comms, active activities, active anything, really (even a drunk-op mining corp) is infinitely better than going solo in an NPC corp.

Get out there and mingle, and for Sanity's sake, sell your retriever! Run some frigs in lowsec systems, and when you die (which will happen often), chat with your killers, ask for advise, and see if they'll recommend how to avoid your particular manner of death again in the future; you'll make some solid mates that way, just by talking with them and being friendly.

This person is correct. the purpose of pve in eve is to afford pvp.
i vary my pve from incursion, to missions, to wh diving, to exploration to manufacturing just to minimise the repetitive dullness of making isk. then i do pvp which is awesome.

Alternatively you can dive into market trading and see how you much you can compete against other traders. I'm having fun doing that right now.

EVE is partially about what you do, but mostly about who you fly with.

Surely, there are people that prefer to operate solo more often than not, but doing so while being part of a group of like-minded and spirited people is what makes it happen for me.

And jumping in a Retriever while not having a corp to find some entertainment with is definately the road to boredom.

I'm a reasonably old cat (even though there are those double my game-age), but I still love every minute of it.

After about a month of playing, I scraped up the funds to get a retriever, and I`ve been mining ever since.

Join a corporation, EvE University is good for all round skills and fun
Red Vs Blue Alliance is a great PvP corp
plus there are masses of mining corporations, just search for them in the corporation recruitment section in these forums.

Any spelling, grammatical and punctuation errors are because frankly, I don't care!!

PvP. Equip a cheap frigate and run into low sec... you will die, but it should be exciting. Do it a couple of time in different sections of lowsec; and decide if that is the type of exciting you are looking for.

Note: you will die and most likely not kill a thing (your abilities/knowledge of PvP will be lacking), but if you like it.. then you know what direction to go.

Dude you're slightly confused. While you cant use bombs in HS, you can definitely use smart bombs (they are two different things). In general people don't use smart bombs in HS unless it is a suicide run because of the possibility of accidental concordoken.

Oh and I should include a mandatory LTP Nube Yada Yada Yada....

I don't play, I just fourm warrior.

You can use smartbombs in highsec. You can go from 5 sec status to -2 before your even concorded! Its hilarious. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lxwgzbdkmu0

MMOs are a multiplayer game. The key to fun is the other players. How you intend to play with these other players is up to you. I love flying in some public fleets, and just generally blowing stuff up. I am probably pushing my logi skills up to join some fleets for incursions. I live in a WH so there is never a week that goes by without some seat of your pants flying to save a ship or at least minimize lose. Or engage and turn the tables.

Flying to and from the WH often with 20+ more low sec jumps is also the opposite of boring.

The fun aspect is the people i am flying with or even sometimes against. We often have a laugh in local after an engagement regardless of how it turns out. The worst was probably when i went afk (not autopilot) and i forgot i was in lowsec... Lost a cain. They thought that was hilarious.

Just one word of warning. Never fly what you can't afford to lose. And you don't need much for lots lols.

AKA the scientist.

Death and Glory!

Well fun is also good.
