Here's a thought. How the hell do you biomass characters from this new screen? There doesn't seem to be many of the old options.

I would like my new character selection screen to have all of my avatars convulsively dancing to dubstep and you quickly have to choose the one you want out of the crowd before the bass drops.

I'm sad :C i see "girls" there, but one gets in and there aren't nipples anywhere :C and that disrupts the immersion/game experience.

My I make a counter proposal and suggest that the new EVE client be in text mode? It would enable me to afk rat and extract tears simultaneously with a minimal amount of computing power.

I'm pretty sure the devs have mentioned in the SiSi forums that there has yet to be a button or function added for this yet.

Nice change but what's the point? If I cannot log off directly to the character selection screen why both with this change at all?

I like it, personally. Looks like Dust 514's login screen. Don't see the big fuss. This actually looks nicer, though if we could still have the news off to the side that would be awesome

The character selection screen you've seen on Sisi is work in progressSmile
It's missing some stuff because it simply hasn't been added yet (or actually, some has been added now, but the build is old).

Of course the idea to have 3D characters came up, various concepts were made, but were decided against fairly early on in the process because we fully realize that you guys have no time to wait for some fancy characters to load when all you want to do is just enter the game and start doing spaceship business.

I completely agree, this is one of the killers for CQ atm too is its simply too damn long to load up compared to station environment. Thank you for not repeating the mistake :D

Hit the little x in the top right side, hit play again and presto character selection screen.

A system where one could switch active character without retyping (or selecting) usernames and passwords every damn time would be > any other character selection upgrade.
