I feel for you, I really do.

If you want to join my corp, we aren't as exclusive of a club as the goons but I'll put a good word in for 50m

I always have Sun Tzu and General Patton quotes close by when I PvP in this internet spaceship video game, eve online.

Its not a scam... its that you lied to us. You had history on your accounts of red alliances when you knew that that would cause us to keep your money. Spies get what they deserve in the end, spy.

So by applying your own logic- I could mirror CCP's eveonline.com site and intercept mad info's to use for my own benefit because I have no contract between you and me. Rgr. Ask Mittens about the legality of that. I was scammed to the tune of 5,000 bil using this technique (honest), and I had spent a lot of time selling lots of plex recently to a lot of interested people to do it. I was so interested in becoming a fuzzy bee and making honey also ...

I object to this thread, the noble Goonwaffe is a long established organization filled with an abundance of e-honoure and I will not tolerate this sullying of our fine name! We don't tolerate scams, and for a small convenience fee of 100 million isk I will personally solve this issue.

That portion is up for debate. By CCP "legally" selling their in-game currency via the PLEX, it's a very possible crime being committed. Would a judge consider it? Possibly, only in the need to set a precedent. But honestly, the filing fees would probably be more than the $20.00 USD you were scammed out of.

Then again, knowing the government....they'd love something like this.

Fred Phelps was a lawyer (before he was disbarred). The majority of his family are lawyers. Hell, a lot of the Westboro Baptist Church in general are lawyers. They may know how to sue, but when it comes to criminal defense, I wouldn't pick them.

Just because one is a lawyer does not mean they know every nuance of every law. You know how many times i've posed questions to any of the criminal defense attorneys in my criminal law classes and gotten a, "I'll need to check on that and get back to you"? More times than I've gotten a straight answer right off the bat.

Actually, if it's in writing, and you sign your name to it (in this case, you sign your IP and in-game name, which is tied to your real life name via the account), that's a written contract. Just sayin'.

Here's an idea: instead of being a dumbass whiner on the internet, why don't you either put up or shut up? Either su them for "stealing/scamming $1 from me with a website on the internet", or shut up and stop proving (repeatedly) that you're a complete and utter fool.
