Ive been watching the origins trailer and i just thought. What would happen if a wormhole back to earth appears in new eden and how would EVE change if there was a whole new galaxy to explore Bear

Well I don't think our Cynos and cap ships would do much good against a human race 20,000 years ahead of us...

A hugely annoying space traffic jam I would imagine, as everyone is forced to use the one link to the 'new' galaxy.

Who knows. Since the EVE gate exploded, and Earth is close to it at the time of explosion, it could've been completely destroyed. The humans EVE-tizens call their ancestors might already be extinct.

Or they all settled somewhere on Coruscant with Jedi and droids and lightsabers and clone troopers and Sith and blasters oh my!

You are making an assumption that since the Eve gate has closed Earth hasn't also regressed in technology for some reason.

Earth could even have fallen back to the Stone Ages, if the CCP wanted. Blink

with an additional 24000 years of technological advancement beyond what New Eden has, Im sure that any incursion into the Sol System would be.... well... disasterous. For all we know, they've converted themselves to Vorlons by now and we'd all be ******.

In all likelihood the Earth civilization has eliminated itself long ago. The only thing keeping New Eden alive (for now) is the technological reset and the dark ages period.

The eve wormhole and gate itself was located far away from earth. The gate was constructed around the wormhole to force it to stay open. Read the official back story.

The Jove were the least advanced of all earth cultures and continued most of their voyage at sublight speeds in generational ships with most of the race in cryo. And the Jove already out class us so earth would be insanely over powered.

the EvE gate should never be re-opened

for the same reasons Jove shouldnt be playable

the Jove wouldn't be the Jove if everyone can re-roll an alt

and EvE wouldnt be EVE or new eden if the previous universe was just a right click and jump away
