L4 Maelstrom rigging question (swapping T2 AC, M4 Arty)

Due to a fatigue-induced error of judgment, I find myself needing to decide how to rig a new Maelstrom mission runner. My old Mael was rigged with 3 large CCC's, because I was relatively inexperienced when I got it, and I never hit the point where it made sense to tear out the rigs.

I didn't go for the Machariel because I wanted a boat that would be less attractive to gankers, and I've had success with the Maelstrom in both short-range and long-range missions. The plan is to switch between T2 800mm autocannons and M4 1400mm artillery depending on the mission. I've got AWU V, EGU V, Minmatar BS IV, all rigging skills to IV. I'm willing to experiment with the fit, mostly T2, possibly upgrading the shield booster to faction.

But how to rig it? If I do 1400's, XLSB, and MJD, that rules out any projectile rigs, because the weapon power penalty will put me overbudget on powergrid, and I can't count on having the ability to fit a slot-6 implant or a Genolution set. That means I'm pretty much limited to shield, energy grid, or electronic superiority rigs.

Any suggestions to improve on my old triple-CCC setup?

Essentially a 4-slot shield tank consisting of an XL booster and 3 hardeners should be all you need if you run a capacitor booster as well, the capacitor booster can be switched out for MJD when you want to. If you use 1200s instead of 1400s you can get 2 gun rigs (ambits would give best mileage) and 1 rig of your choice, can be shield rig for more tank or some electronics rig, or even an ancillary current router to get allow for 1400s and still maintain the 2 gun rigs.

Makes a lot of sense - and the dual-ambit setup might even make AC's a viable long-range alternative, I guess. I'm assuming either a prop mod or a TC in the last mid-slot.
