So consider bunch of stubborn retards (3 pilots) want to rush into C3. We dont know exactly what to except. The plan is:

Find C3 WH - find site - clear site - loot site - got pwned by sudden gankers - clone afterparty at medical facility..

1. So what about ships...We can afford to fly in battlecruisers. I was thinking about 2x drake and 1x hurricane. Should we rather go with 2x drake and one covops (buzzard, bomber whatever) and if so why. Should we stick with more tank or dps in such combination ?

2. I know there are sleepers in site we need to eliminate so my question is what we should know before encountering them ? Whats the best tactic for clering the site what types of ships and dmg we might deal with and ect...

3. What sites exactly we are looking for ? I want to skip relic/rata (they are crap from what I heard) so I guess we are looking for combat site is that right ?

4. The most of the loot comes from looting and salvaging sleepers ? (If so should we loot and salvage all of them or there are some specific wrecks to loo ?)

5. What about other ppl It seems to me that WH are more populated than high sec should we be ready that somebody probably **** us or its occasional if we watch dscan ? Can we operate in WH with POS or its suicide ?

If anyone feels like answering on some of my question before we get blown up please do so and you can that way literally save someones clone..

Out.

1. 3 drakes with omni tank.....passive tank?

2. warp in and shoot=profit. u will face frigs cruisers bs and a couple sites have sentry towers.

3. all sites that show up on system scan.

4. salvage and loot every wreck. bs require at least salvaging 3

5. keep checking dscan and pos is no use unless yall are gonna live in there

your plan is a sound one and you can't go far wrong

As normal fly what you can afford to lose and a quick search on google or more manaul methods can detail the sorts of ships/fits to use, as can checking eve-survival

most sites in a C3 can be done with a small group like yours but again see above point

Lootwise, you will get different answers but salavge the sleeper wrecks as your after nano-ribbons (+5mil per one depnding on the time of day in Jita), the blue loot they drop is in leiu of bounties so grab that for selling to NPC vendors in HS

C1-C3 normally see the highest traffic but most will POS up at the first sign of another player, or will start to hunt you down......

1. Drakes are the best BC's for C3's. But RR shield setups like Ferox's, Drakes and Canes work ok.

2, Read EVE Survival basically, as it changes each site. Often though be vary of BS's with neuts and webs. They can tear through ships.

3. Relics and Datas are the best not the worst. Data loot from the containers though is generally worthless but you make roughly 100+ mil per relic / data compared to 30+ in normal anoms.

4. Salvage all the wrecks because the worthwhile nanoribbon drops are random.

5. Always watch dscan, scan out the whole hole, keep alts on any connections if possible. Even so though its still risky but if your careful with where you run sites and what connections you'll be ok.

POS is good. Doubtful anyone will try and siege your POS unless they desperately want the system or your invading their space, wont stop people running your sites though.

Hope that helps.

You don't necessarily need a covops but I would suggest you have probe launchers in your utility highs.
As for your 3rd pilot I highly recommend a noctis or some other salvager as yes all your isk will cone from loot and salvage.

As for sites to run. Anoms automatically appear. Relic sites are good. Data sites are meh.

Someone linked eve-survival. That's a good start.

Drakes and Canes are a decent combo. C3s are not all that tough

Scout the wh first. See how many towers are in the hole. Whether thry are online or not or have active pilots in them.
Wormhol.es is a good website and gives preliminary intel on residents and their hours of activity.
See how many other wormholes are present besides the static or whatever hoke you came through. The more active holes the more likely you are to have visitors.

Okay my general advice is as follows...

1 - If I had 3 ships to take it'd be 1 scimitar & 2 ABCs (talos oracles, nados ect) credit to Keith Plank master pony lord :P

2 - Use eve survival and follow the waves - don't pop the triggers

3 - Just do the regular anoms, hell with the scimitar on grid it can support a noctis on grid the whole time if the noctis is fit correctly

4 - Loot only comes from salvaging and the blue loot - which means you will need a salvage boat

5 - Do your homework (ie scout around in a cloaky ship) and see if people are home move on, if not plunder all their stuff.

In regards to setting up a POS - a small tower will do if you plan to stay for a day or so - go large or go home if you're staying longer.

P.S you will get ganked, but do your best to keep an eye on dscan

1- Pasive fit drakes are the easyest way to go.

2- Eve survival tells you everything you need to know.

3- Money comes from blue loot "tags" and salvage.

4- Dich the drakes and bring tengus asap.

Be prepared to fight sleepers that web you and neut you from 30km. Not really a problem if not soloing, but heavy assault fits may suffer. Expect to use t2 ammo. Specialy javelin.

3 drakes.
Utility hi slot for probe launcher.
3 x lse 2, active omni tank and a tp.
2 bcs and 2 psr, but if you feel bold, use 3 bcs.
Defense field purguers x3
Hobgoblins 2 for that little extra dps.
Clone afterparty

since your plan involves getting ganked and waking up in a clone station, id say its rather irrelevant what you fly :p

One thing that seems to have not been mentioned, if you plan on living in a WH, bring fights when people come knocking. It's a little rude to just POS up... If they have you outnumbered and outshipped, ask if they'll attempt to match numbers and/or ship down.

If you're planning on daytripping, disregard the above.

I can second this. Just a few days ago we had a K126 from a C5 occupied by Laurentson INC. We watched a couple of pods come through our system to use our hisec. We shipped up and camped our side of the K126 to see what we could catch on the way back. We were discovered and after them and us reshipping a couple of times, they eventually killed us. 'gf's for everyone. They were so happy that someone fought instead of POS'ing up they offered to let us tag along when running some of their anoms. Saddly my corpmates and I were just getting ready to log when the K126 showed up, so we couldn't take advantage.

Not sure how it works in the rest of Eve. But in wh's it seems to be that exploding a few ships in a fun battle is wormhole resident for "Howdy Neighbor!"

"The purpose of fighting is to win. There is no possible victory in defense. The sword is more important than the shield and skill is more important than either. The final weapon is the brain. All else is supplemental."

Hey, you seem like a good corp. What JSig do you live in and where can I find these K126s? Mail me the K126 to hisec after downtime so I can apply!

Arranged fights - even for me - turned out to be plain ********. I really tried giving it a shot, but there are way better ways to get fight afterall, especially since you don't have to pray that they will not just decloak a number of falcons equal or similiar to your gangsize (this or warping in a bunch of guardians is how such arranged fights end 8 times out of 10)

Just to let you know, you need Salvaging V or a salvage tackle rig if you want to be able to salvage BS wrecks in a C3.
