small diference for us since we all learn english at school.

big big diference since since japanise speak and specially read very little english.

massive influx of oriental players and all the stuff i said before

Sorry, but you are just wrong on multiple points because you just don't know. Everybody in Japan has at least six years of English education. Mandatory part of the school curriculum. The education is focused on reading and writing. They can read English much better than they can speak it. You're just making up false facts bro.

Secondly, lumping Japanese gamers in with Korean gamers is just shows ignorance. Too very distinct societies and very distinct ways of doing things. It's kind of like saying "All Europeans play the same way." Come on, don't talk if you don't know what you're talking about.

you are thinking like a westener...... westeners think that everyone is the same as them.... unfortunately while koreans and japanese do indeed learn a lot of english at school, they dont use it in RL , as their culture is rich enough and dont need to and they are proud of their countries , which westeners arent.

in fact when western businessmen go to japan on business they are taught traditional japanise culture and manners, very different to our own, NOT THE OPPOSITE

haeh I didn't got your last sentence, when you are in Rome eat fish.

Why should anyone visiting another culture not adapt to it, but I have to agree that there will not be to much interaction with them (as we have it with the russians), but on the other hand interaction against them...we will see.

What I absolutely do not understand is your angst, EVE could be a sandbox and why should it be restricted to a few languages, I am for localizations for everyone and I want a hessian localization yeah :)

Seriously, don't take me serious, I MEAN IT...seriously

EVE Online is open to any nation, well except China but they have their own server due to local laws. The Japanese have been playing with us for a long time and our latest localized client is going to be Japanese.

I'm absolutely horrified, what is the world coming to?

Next thing you know they'll be letting hoards of drunk Aussies on the server.... oh wait.

Amphetimines are your friend.

You are the one totally stereotyping these groups. Blatantly and unashamedly!
I think somewhere a village is missing their idiot, and here you are.
I have very good in-game friends from all nations across the world, especially from the two groups you seem to be cr@pp1ng yourself about. What are you afraid of ? If you're afraid of such players, wtf are you playing this game ??
Apologise for your stupid remarks or GTFO. I feel embarrassed on behalf of my Oriental friends and collegaues.

I am going to request the moderator to remove this stupid, racist thread.

Hey look at the market now because it will be f*ed.

Miners will have to work 10x more because mineral prices are going.. down down down..

This is something I don't really like to be honest, they'll make the game even more hardcore ;S

And I'm not racist, my mother is Chinese.

Western games tend not to do that well in Japan, hence the Xbox 360 flopping. I suspect most of the Japanese likely to play EVE are already playing it, and the localized client will just make life easier for them.

Of course if us in the English speaking community could stop worrying about our own narrow interests, stop complaining, and work together I'm sure we could maintain a sufficient slice of the action to keep ourselves in the running. And we would have a definite advantage in that between Europe, North America and Australia/New Zealand we have all the time zones covered.

You know they've been able to play since release, right?

It's just a client that's localized to their language, which I applaud CCP for making the effort and doing that.
