Is it possible to stop/quit the tutorial right away? If i want to make a specialized character or something i don't really want to be injecting skills...

All i see on the tutorial window is a pin, back, and next button.

Thanks in advance =)

Yes, just ignore it and move on. You are never actually required to do any of them, although if you're a new player skipping them is a bad idea. If this is just an alt or you're a returning player who feels comfortable, move on to better things.

Edit: If its the actual window giving you problems, try ctrl + w to close an active window.

Well, doesn't look like it, and ctrl+w does not work.

Don't really want to inject/train the skill, but i see no way of getting past it, clicking next doesn't do anything, and there is no X to close the window, and ctrl+w does not work on that tutorial window.

So is the only way to inject the skill?

Can you just undock and ignore it?

why *wouldn't* you want repair systems trained?

market alt has no need for it.
sure there are other roles.

but 99% of pilots should train it especially if it is your main.

Seems you're stuck spending 30 min to train it, or possibly waiting longer for a petition to be answered.

Don't worry about wasting that little time in the long run. I've got a bit over a mil skill points in PI that I don't even use anymore. Sad

I'm pretty sure there is a way to quit the tutorial.

I can't remember exactly right now, I'll check when I get home, but things to check:
* Hit BACK until you find a CANCEL button.
* Journal entry for an active mission.
* An option in help (NEOCOM button or F12).
* A checkbox in the ESC menus.
* With the window in focus hit: CTRL w

EDIT: Tested. Closed by clicking on the X, or using CTRL w

Well, as you see in my screenshot there is no X, and i can't get past that screen you say, as i have to inject the skill before it lets me advance, and CTRL+W does nothing.

Tried ESC -> General Settings -> Show Tutorials (uncheck)? Logout and back in.

Or F12 -> Tutorials and try to start another one (double-click on one) , then cancel that?

ESC -> Reset Settings -> Reset Tutorial State?

Finally made it, the problem was that i was logged in with multiple accounts so the "show tutorial" setting never saved it looked like. As when i just logged on this character right now, that option was still ticked, so i unticked it and did a relog and finally, the tutorial is gone, without me needing to inject the skill =)
