Will attacking pocos flag you as a suspect or get the faction navy after you? So far neither occurs on SISI and i'm curious if it will change on TQ. I can see a decent amount of laser ships afking and blowing up all the npc pocos for kicks. (Which is fine with me because I'll join in)

That's kinda the point, I believe. No NPC involvement. I'm expecting a lot of POCOs to go down in flames on release...

POCOs will flag you as Criminal in High-Sec.
I am assuming you mean the InterBus CO (not POCO, thats player-owned.). An attack on these results in no consequence except PvE timer.
CONCORD doesn't care about InterBus, neither do the faction navy/police.

Excellent! I'm quite sure a lot of laser ships will clean up those interbus co on patch day with no consequences.

There is already several Corps that have Ops planned on that day.
Take out CO near the trade hubs and put up their own POCO.. and then sell off the POCOs

if you see a fleet attacking a NOCO (NPC Owned Customs Office) warp to the planet somewhere and place your POCO as soon as the NOCO explodes ....

I highly anticipate this will happen.
And then the WarDecs start...
locked in a battle for weeks with a fresh new enemy.

There will be blood.

Remember that a POCO can be anywhere near the planet. So if you are planning on Ninja'ing in a POCO, be sure to bookmark a spot near the planet that is off grid from both the normal planet warp in and the NCO warp in.

Also remember the most lucrative planets are the barren and terrestrial planets near trade hubs. Those are used as factory planets to convert P1-3 into P4 and have a huge value flux from the imports and exports. If you do get one of those planets consider your tax rate carefully. The profit margin in making P4 is slim. Too high a tax and the users of that planet will just shut down operations and move to some other activity.

anywhere around the planet or anywhere around the planet warpin within a certain range?

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value

My understanding is: Anywhere near the planet, "near" being 100,000 km. But Ive never tested it.
So you should be able to fly half way around form the warp in, set a bookmark, and come expansion day wait for someone to attack the NOCO, warp to your spot and start spamming deploy. And hope that of all the other people spamming deploy the server decides you were first.

I'd like to clarify that my intent was to destroy the nocos without placing a poco of my own. You know, kinda do that good deed and get PI in the hands of players for hi-sec for whoever is willing to place their pocos.

You can't import/export bulk quantities of resources to/from colony without a CO. If you want to be an angel, put a POCO and set tax rate to 0% Cool

Without a CO you can only launch containers into orbit but not the other way. And there is a cooldown between launches. You know, some paperwork, expedited transfers to command centers and packaging takes more time to execute... CC has a capacity of 500m3 only. And this is max cargo volume you can launch at a time. Very constraining for PI enterprise...

COs give more flexibility at a price...

BTW, i applaud your generosity Bear

ive tested it a while ago. went with an interceptor to the north pole of a planet and set a bookmark to put the poco there later. worked like expected but the new "customs office" warp-in was now at the north pole

Why can't we have that those who shoot NOCOs (i like the sound of that)
turn into suspects ?

I am pretty sure that this will generate lots of fights ... ?

'Defend their assets'... against capsuleers? So what, you think that the Interbus COs should spawn rats or something when they get attacked? That's totally guaranteed to keep them safe. Absolutely.

That said, I endorse this idea. Blowing up an NPC customs office is a boring exercise, especially if you're going to be doing it all day long. Random shootable NPCs attacking during the process would be JUST the thing to liven things up.

I'm sure I will be happy when I see afk people dieing to those NPCs

And it would make more sense, lorewise.

Interbus is too incompetent an organization to do that. They cannot even set the reinforcement timer.
