Sure Drake looks ok, it looks like a weapons platform, and I even get why they did it. But the Ferox looks like a command ship to me. I know the Vulture is still there but the Nighthawks paint job was amazing with with the Ferox hull it really worked.

Changes are good, at last somthng new that not interfere to game mechanic, drake Hull as CS why not...

When the CS models get redone to support their t2 status...how do you not know that the Nighthawk drake will not look awesome? For all we know when it gets unveiled it will be the sexiest thing in the game since the new Mega!


Sure, the nighthawk drake looks like a Spanish tile with a racing stripe NOW, but who knows what the future holds....

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

They should keep our models like model years for cars. The new ones on the new model and the old ones on the old and that goes for nerfs and slots etc.

It would be cool if they completely changed it too a new model, but its going backwards, we just got a navy drake no need for another one. They need to at least give us the ability to have custom paint schemes. There is literally no reason for us not to have this since in almost every other game you can customize your car, player, ship, etc.

Although unless a Dev says otherwise, I've always depended on the fact that test server is never really final product.

They could maybe have not changed the image to what it really will be, or are toying with the idea with the introduction of the new SOE ships.

Yeah and on the SoE note, those ships look f*cking awesome! I can't wait to add those to my collection.

Whilst yes, I thought the Nighthawk was pretty awesome looking as a Ferox... OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG DAT DRAKE NIGHTHAWK!!! Big smile

I am also one whom would have preferred if they updated the old design instead of creating a giant Decepticon.

I'm of the opinion that the Drake ducking sucks.

Then again, I think the entire Caldari race is just a waste of oxygen, so....yeah.

That said, the Giant Space Brick is a favorite ship among EVE pilots--for some dumb-ass reason. So why not cash in on that popularity? People love the Giant Space Brick. Yes, they just got a Navy Space Brick, but people love their Space Bricks.

Why not give them ANOTHER Giant Space Brick?

Or, you know, get them to fly any other race besides Caldari.

I don't believe Gallente scum were invited to this thread :P but seriously Caldari has a lot of good looking ships, even the drake is OK. Just no need to change something that was fine as is, especially if their is talk that they are going to make new hulls for them anyway.

Let's just set expectations.

This change to some of the Command Ship probably won't be reversed unless there is a threadnaught.

The fact that the actual feedback thread hasn't reached 1000 pages and still is under 100 means this most likely won't be reverted.

It's better than bad; it's good!

But personally I think they should have used the carrier model for fleet command. That would have been much more fun.

It's not a space brick it's a shin guard. The closest to a space brick we have is the roof shingle (Charon).

Cynter's Law of feature suggestion: Thou shalt not suggest NPCs do something players could do instead.
