Exactly what the title says. What do you munch on while watching you corpmates scan for pew while you put your feet up and do nothing? Any specific drinks you enjoy while watching those industry nerd types bring in your fuel?

Food for me: Grapes. Can't get enough. If it's late and the options aren't numerous, Combos are the way to go!

Drinks for me: mainly of the tea variety. Sweet, unsweet, Arnold Palmers, etc... During the summers, which are really hot here in Florida, slurpees are the best.

What wretched culinary abortions do you enjoy while having Jack Miton kite you around? Discuss!

Very nice. I enjoy ice water in a Tervis Tumbler here in FL as well...but I'm sure your variety of teas and Arnold Palmers would be just as tasty. I'm not familiar with hanging out in the wormhole's but have played Eve since it's inception. I'd love to learn more about what they can do - I never scanned one down yet... but would like to get into that more.

Came expecting delicious recipes... left disappointed.

Moscow Mule

One metal cup. (The kind that are usually used for making mint juleps.)

2 oz. of Vodka. (The good stuff. Not that Philips or Silver Wolf **** you clean car parts with.)
1/2 oz of freshly squeezed lime juice.

Crack ice into cocktail shaker. Pour vodka in first, slowly over the ice. Add lime juice. Cover shaker and shake the **** out of it. Strain into copper mug or lowball glass on the rocks. Top off the glass with ginger beer(!).

Ginger beer and ginger ale are not the same thing. The local co-op is a good place to look. If you don't know what a co-op is, it's where all the hippies go to buy all their expensive organic vegetables and patchouli oil. If you're still confused as to where to find one, just follow the smell of body odor and ****** hang drum and pan pipe music.

Generally a whisky and dry.

Perhaps some sweet chilli chips or nuts flavoured the same - goes down quite well

Dried figs accompanied by slices of blue cheese (normally I'm partial to Stilton, although I have been partaking in Shropshire, of late). A dry red is good accompanyment to this, usually followed by some scotch with a deep, smoky flavour with tones of fruit and honey - JW blue label works well.

The general consensus I'm getting is that most wormholes have an alcohol problem. Namely that there isn't enough.

You may have heard stories of Finns and alcohol. They are all true.

Also, my problem is that I am out of absinthe and I am not going to Estonia or Germany in a while. Bob damn the state booze monopoly for discontinuing in 2008 the only decent brand they imported. And ouf of ways to drink it, Death in the Afternoon is the way to go.

Oh man, this made me laugh........"hippies"

I'll normally sip away at a nice strong hot coffee. I like to keep it simple, stupid.

Few occasions when I've almost spat it out at a surprise WH activation and something juicy is sitting in front of me.

I am partial to a dram of 6 Isles Whiskey, maybe the old Monkey Shoulder if the palate isn't up to it. Or a Beenleigh Honey Rum - you should try this, it's great for a long session of probing wormholes because you can pacify the wife-unit with it and still be manly.

For the usual evening's probing and escalations I'm also known to hook into a bottle of red from time to time, usually these days it's a '10 or '11 shiraz from the barossa, or a few choice West Australian reds, maybe some GSM, cab-sauv or similar, we really are spoiled for choice when it comes to stinking great reds over here.

beer is for weekend daytime, summertime (southern hemisphere, where we get real summers) and roams.

For a wardec, I begin hitting the schnapps and vodka. Because you've got to be crazy drunk to spend that long camped in station.

As for nibblies? I tend to stick to the basics: buffalo wings, pringles, cheezels, and so on. Though, I am most satiated by kummelfett. Nothing quite like kummelfett.

I enjoy my scotch with whiskey stones.

A warmed up vaporizer paired with some type of indica.

As for eats. Trader Joes bing cherries or the cheddar pop corn that they have. Perhaps some chicken masala. Or grapes if I am in the mood for fruit.

Fresh NY style pepperoni pizza. Any sauce the keyboard accrues is worth the taste.

A bad analogy is like a leaky screwdriver.
