The Great CONCORD Uprising is officially scheduled for 10/19, 20:00 EVE time (3 pm EST). Standard fit seems to be gank catalysts, but you can bring whatever you don't mind losing. Bomber battleships will probably get in on a a bunch of killmails by popping all the catalysts. Just sayin'.

X-hour is 20:00. Pax Concordia goes into effect 6 hours prior (1400 EVE time). Please refrain from shooting hostiles--yes, even wartargets--near Yulai so we can get as many people involved as possible.

Noctises are fair game, though.

Try to get there early--I have no idea how many people will show up and we may have to contend with Tidi, lag, etc.

Beause if I don't say this somebody is going to get banned and blame me: THIS IS A WELPFLEET. ATTACKING CONCORD WILL RESULT IN THE LOSS OF YOUR SHIP. ANY ATTEMPT TO EVADE CONCORDOKEN MAY RESULT IN A BAN. DO NOT BRING ANYTHING YOU CAN'T AFFORD TO LOSE.

That said...if anybody wants to come but can't afford to lose a 2 mil catalyst, hit me up and I'll spot you one. I can't buy one for everybody, but lack of ISK is a pretty crappy reason not to participate. If you really need the ISK, let somebody know.

To everybody complaining about how it's impossible to kill CONCORD: bring your noctis.

edit: And some propaganda for you. Because this is EVE.

EDIT 2: THE DETAILS

Here's how this is going to work. All times are in EVE time

1. Everybody who wants to come should be in system by 19:50 or so.
2. At 19:58, I will target and attack some random person.
3. When CONCORD warps in, all players should target, lock, and get in range of CONCORD Commander
4. at 20:00 EVE time, Everybody opens fire.
5. If things get screwed up, just shoot something--anything.

There is a possibility that CONOCRD may bug out under the stress of so many criminal flags at once. If this happens and you somehow aren't killed strongly recommend that you self-destruct your ship. Evading CONCORD by bugs--even ones we don't know about--is considered an exploit. Self-destructing would serve as an act of good faith demonstrating you were not trying to escape CONCORDOKEN.

Have fun!

No, my friend--you should join us in the madness. Let it surround you. Let it embrace you. Let it cover you with its warm, wet folds.

Even still, someone needs to record this... Will be amusing to see it from other peoples points of view (my pc is a toaster, I actually can't record it or I would).

Quoted from Doc Fury: "Concerned citizens: Doc seldom plays EVE on the weekends during spring and summer, so you will always be on your own for a couple days a week. Doc spends that time collecting kittens for the on-going sacrifices, engaging in reckless outdoor activities, and speaking in the 3rd person."

Cool idea. Sounds like having 10 ships in Yulai and setting your clone home there could be a good idea too. Let the carnage begin.

This should prove to be interesting, I will have to come in person to see CONCORD once again show why they're here.

It is possible to kill a CONCORD ship as an FYI however they drop nothing and salvage for scraps IIRC.

I don't get it... is this an *official* event like the titan kill in Luminaire?

also, you're kind of late to the party.

Nice, totally going to try and make it.

@OP -- send me a mail ingame, I might be able to help on the "people need welpcats" front.

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

1. doubtful, since it's a "Brave Newbies" pilot posting, rather than a Dev/GM (although, OP *could* be a CCP alt). edit -- and CCP will probably end up rolling this into why the factions are losing their hold over the capsuleers.
2. well, yeah ... though as I recall it, they were not capsuleer-piloted vessels.

either way though ... who cares, it'll be a good time.

Everyone should write like this 19th Oct or Oct 19th (YYYY is optional), less confusion!

Catalysts?
Uhm... not completely sure,
but attacking a CONCOD ship gets you jammed instantly,
so high Alpha would be better.

Confirm/Deny? Can't test this now.

Also to the guy who said CONCORD ships are poppable ...
... you mistake them with CONCORD mission NPCs or the faction police.

@ Solstice --> Doesn't CONCORD shoot one at a time til each ship is dead instead of "instant DPS to everyone at the same time"?

will check the insta jam on sisi tonight.

If we're going for (cheap) raw alpha ... arty thrashers?

I'm usually flying solo, but iirc there will be one spawn for every ship,
when several ships enter GCC at once.

Furthermore, we need a CONCORD spawn on grid,
which has it's own issues.

I can get two volleys out of my usual ganking thrasher with CONCORD on grid before i'm jammed and die,
so catalysts probably are a bad option. Things might be different when one attacks CONCORD, but i doubt that.
So somebody has to shoot first and everybody else one server tick later.

And yes, i am assuming actual instapwnbbqCONCORD and not the lame faction equivalents.

Personally, i'll show up in a tornado.

Tornadoes are nice and all .... but kind of expensive if you welp more than a few...
