Hi,

I am in a bit of dilemma as to which one to use as a covert scout/tackler. Now i have both amarr and gallant cruiser to 5. But zero hybrid skills. I can user lasors perfectly though.

I know dps of a covert t3 sucks and hence my dilemma. If dps is not the deciding factor, which t3 has the best tank?

Which one is better as a scout?

Proteus is far better in a covert setup.

It gets higher DPS, tank, and point range.

All true. The Prot gets an extra low slot for more tank or dmg mod.

Disregarding dps, the only attractive aspect of the Legion is the neut subsystem which will help you kill active tanks. Good luck trying to make it cap stable though.

Cloaky legion is absolutely useless, no ifs ands or buts about it.

A cloaky legion can be a halfway decent neuting platform, but that's not going to kill anything on its own. Go proteus.

cloaky T3s in general are useless unless you are scouting or just traveling

The Augmented Capacitor Resevoir gets you the bandwidth for five light drones but more importantly a large drone bay giving you some versatility, I would choose this over the power core as I would prefer the 5 light over an additional gun given that the covert sub has less boosts to weapons than the other subsystems.
