ishtar fit for a guristas military operation complex

Hi
I have a esxcalation for the above, that I will run when I get home, and I intend using my Ishtar

can anyone link or show a fit please, that will do this - my usual 8/10 fit has low dps and too much tank

I want to only use drones if possible......and as quick as possible solo

Tanking null sec sites or complexes in an Ishtar is primarily a sig tank.

That means AB and high resistances VS rats. Grab a wide orbit and let em chase you around. Most of the "B" type deadspace reppers will get you by if your specific resistances are high enough.

my skills are high, I just didn't know how high a tank I would have to go, there are lots of frigs and destroyers in this plex - and that's what worries me

tempted to use a shield tank with a pithi b type small, but didn't know how to handle lows etc

Passive tank it, all shield power relays in low, 2 medium core purger II, 2 lSE and 2 faction kin hardneer 1 aft in mid and you'll be fine.

BTW. Its a bad escalation , normally don't drop anything good

that's the fit I used last time - minus the AB I cant remember what I had there - but is the AB to keep aggro off my drones?? does that work in escalations?

no the AB is to add to your tank and stop the transitions to the gates taking forever.

I would run at least 2 DDAs and one Omni regardless of how you tank it though.

Its an ishtar vs a relatively easy guristas plex. A t2 repper, 1 t2 kinetic hardener, an afterburner is really all you need to tank it. Although even with the afterburner off, guristas battleships will do single digit dps to you.
