Heya folks a quick query

I have been training towards the Nidhoggur for a while, but have come across an issue. According to Evemon I can fly the Nid but in game it says I need Jump fuel conservation 4 and capital ships level 4.
is this discrepancy an issue where the skills needed have changed during an update?? It is unusual for evemon to get it wrong recently

Cheers in advance folks

Edit - just checked I have the same problem with my Miner pilot and his Rorqual training

If you have the minmatar carrier skill trained already, you don't need the other skills to fly it. If you don't, then you'll need everything it says you need in game.

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

Thanks for the reply....so the skill requirement was changed then??

I had trained the "required" skills for it quite a while ago.

Yes, but if you could fly it before those changes, you can fly it now. Tho i strongly advise training those 2 anyway, they are... essential for a ship that tends to jump around a lot and aligns like a bag of wet sand ;-)

*snorts*

lies, yes the nid and the chimera can use some help but people fly them to good effect. perhaps not as much as the archon (since it is Amarr and we all know that Amarr is just the best) but they are good ships. I have almost perfect archon skills and will train nid next and unless things change dramatically in the next 6 months I will use the nid a lot more.

Sure if you talk 0.0 blob.. but who cares about that?

I'd argue the Thanny is the worst to be honest.. "oh.. yay.. 250 more DPS and can't use an energy transfer well"

Chimera could use a slight buff in capacitor.. but all around it is a solid ship.

Atleast the nid gets a RR bonus.. just have one thing to say however.. moar fitting please!!!!

well thanny is great at running lvl 5s :) so there is that.

true the fitting on the nid is a *****.. I am not saying all carriers are equal. they are not. but i wouldnt say any of them is garbage.
