nobody's perfect...

and I think I still have a valid point about his drive, despite his flaws and his talent (whatever it may be). he's the only one who will stay interested in his success, and he's ok with that.

as for creativity, 'good artists copy, great artists steal' is kinda true. the way Kanye did it, Jesus Walks and Gold Digger, people paid to hear, enjoyed hearing it.

even if you don't agree with someone, which is ok, doesn't it tell you something when you get upset about them?

It's funny because you haven't even made a point as to why you think he is good, except for that he's successful.

I don't think this is necessarily to his credit, but he is charismatic. Maybe it is what you're pointing out, that he's driven, or he has a grand opinion of himself, but it's a delusion he carries in his head that I guess rubs off on quite a lot of people, because he is a really ******, narrow minded person and he seems too ignorant to have any real sense of self-awareness.

He's not dealing with some internal struggle and trying to cope with this sense of public resentment towards his character, he's completely convinced he's the greatest musician alive and that people only hate him because they're jealous of him. I'm sure he sits in his bed at night thinking about how amazing he is, how lucky he feels to be himself, and that out there everyone else is thinking the same thing about him.

He's a disgusting narcissist and whatever naive little charm he possesses doesn't even make up for it a little bit.

Honestly, you should come to recognize these kind of personality types. This is advice anyone who's reading this should take. Because these kinds of people will **** up your life.

Nuclear, no matter what a person's motivation may be, ....on a basic level, Kanye is an example of "who dares, wins"

Also hate is a strong word, and since when did hate somehow equate as a "non-negative value", thats some greasy spin you got going there. "Mr. West" is about as important as that other hip hop guy who pissed on that girl, they're transient pop culture distractions nothing more. That you like many others apparently care about these people is something I will never understand, they're just a product to be marketed and sold.

well broski, it's one of those things you'd need to experiment with, to see for yourself.

non-negative as in, it has emotional significance, and is not an absence of emotion.

I'm a hot-blooded man sometimes, maybe you can relate: I sometimes do things to make girls hate me so they'll like me.

...That's what Kanye has done to the world.
