My ship is too small when I zoom out

If I zoom out in a mission or complex to see the layout, there is no icon for my ship so it disappears. Is there any way to have the system display an icon so I know where my ship is when I zoom out?

The camera stays centered on your ship.. so it's in the middle of your screen. . you could also turn on the tactical overlay and see where it is there. . or my old personal favourite is a piece on bluetac on the center of your screen where the ship is. . if you're real talented you mold the blue tac to look like your ship Smile

Hold down the [Alt] key. It will show you some brackets for your ship.

The above, and CTRL+D is pretty great tool too.

0/10.

When Bon Scott died and he appeared before St. Peter at the gates of Heaven, St. Peter looked at his record and told him he couldn't get in. Just then, God screams at Peter, "Let him in, Karen Carpenter is driving me nuts. I want to hear some music with balls. We'll haggle over the paperwork later." At least I hope that's what happened.

This tells me you either have too much time on your hands or are playing Eve too much.

Get a bigger monitor so you don't have to zoom out so far.

1. Click on your ship before zooming out. You'll see a circle representing 'you' but it dissapears if you select anything.

2. Turn on the tactical overlay, so you can see your position relative to other objects at all levels of zoom.

1) Contact the CSM.

2) Start a blog.

3) Open twitter account.

In no particular order of course.
