CCP make Shield Implants For Shield Supers,Titans.

yeah we all know, the armor supers, and titans get slaves, but CCP give the shield lovers, implants that work like slaves do. for the shield side of supers and titans,


with this being done, im sure. youd see a dramatic increase in shield supers being fielded,

Simultaneously CCP should buff armor sub-caps, then we would surely see more being fielded.

erm, you dont get out much do you. lol. fight against ccp in anmake PL and some other randoms where running, gwadians, legions, proteus, and loki fleets, which in turn is a nasty combination.

This is honestly the least of the issues of shield capitals. The biggest issue is that the 25% bonus damage on the Nyx makes it far and away the best supercarrier in the game, as none of the other ship-exclusive bonuses come close. The only Super that is really fielded because of how tanky it is, is the Aeon, and those are only allowed because the meta is Armor and you can't make EVERYONE fly a nyx.

Second to that... Capital missiles are basically useless, which eliminates two hulls from being fielded right off the bat.

Nidhoggurs and Hels have all the weaknesses of reduced tank that a Nyx or thanny has, but without that massive damage bonus. The repping bonus is cool, but is simply not usefull outside of shield triage (which the chimmy is better at, due to cap transfer range), or shield Pantheon with a medium-small gang, which is the one place where they are actualy pretty ******* amazing.


Naglfars are just plain boss already, which is probably why (besides the occasional Chimmy) they are the only shield capitals you ever see used.



Pretty much the issue boils down to, if you want to fix shield supers, you HAVE to fix shield capitals first, since noone is going to escalate a fight their armor caps are in, with a shield super squadron. That would be dumb.

Then add armour versions of crystals too.

I would like to note the only parts of this post that are correct are that nags are boss and cap missiles are ****. Pretty much everything else is hilariously wrong.
