Hey all,


We wanted to ask the community what kind of Market tools would you like to see developed. ( can also be non market related )

We are finishing up some big projects for the eve community and can take on or maybe even include new ideas in the larger projects if they do not already exists in one form or another.

The real sad thing is that looking over his website I get what they are trying to do (if legit), and it will fail miserably. (and he described it poorly)

They are trying to establish a base price for items outside of Eve. So, no matter what happens, unless the blueprint changes, this is what item x costs. No need to worry about ever changing prices in eve, just one flat price.

Unfortunately, what will happen is that if (assuming it isn't a scam) Item A is cheaper in Eve, people will buy it there. If it is cheaper in this S-market, people will buy it there (and probably dump it on the Eve market for a profit). You cannot establish pricing unless you control a significant market share (and again, it makes zero sense to do this, unless you want to drive prices UP, as you would be losing money).

How much impact this has on the market depends entirely on how much manufacturing power they are throwing at it. You could, conceivably, with enough manufacturing power do this, but you would have to dump considerable amounts of items on the market....

And even then, you'd just have people reprocessing the ships to sell the minerals, or committing insurance fraud. The net of this will be others profitting and the market unchanged.

That said, as long as I can use the contract option and it can be delivered in/near a trade hub, I will definately buy the cheap stuff to immediately resell.

@Tig - The Exact mechanics have not been explained to the fullest not even on our website. And yes, without the full picture we would be taking massive losses to do the SMarket.

We want people to buy the items and resell them. Between all the partners and Us we have all production power and supplies needed to create a stable market.

@ Deka - I will contact you in Game and set you up for testing.

@ WaffleHead, I was asking about any tools needed for EvE not just Market related.


We are freeing up some of our time, and would like to continue to create things for the community. So that why I asked what else is needed in terms of tools? Market or Not.

So why post in the Market Discussions?. You know the forum section for Market... Discussion.. You should have posted this in ' EVE Technology Lab' where all the 3rd party tools/services exist.

As I've said....that would be a very impressive market share, and it still makes zero sense to do it this way vs just seeding the real eve market from a profit perspective.

Unless it is a scam.
