Arranged fights - how common are they?

You hide behind an alt when posting.

You are Ok with other people not keeping their word.

No one knows you.

Of course most people are not going to agree to a fight. You claim to keep your word, but no one knows you so that cannot be established. Your claiming to keep your word is a worthless claim by your own admission. Every scammer in the game claims to be honorable until they have your ISK.

Most of the arranged fights we get are with groups where we know someone on the other side or have fought them honorably in the past. These fights can be a lot of fun for both groups.

I have flown with or against a lot of the people responding in this thread. Once people know you will keep your word, you find that arranged fights are more easily obtained.

A corp rule requiring that you do not post with your mains seems designed to create a level of distrust. The groups in wormhole space know each other. We will shoot at each other today and help each other the next. It is our way of life. :p

Man up and post with your main!

Firstly, *I* am not hiding behind anything, as stated previously my alliance leadership doesn't allow posting on the forums. Secondly, I'm not "OK" with people breaking their word, I simply understand that this is EVE, and people DO that, so I don't get all butthurt about it when it happens.

You, and a few others like you, have made it abundantly clear that I was in the wrong type of corp/alliance. I am waiting for roles to expire and am leaving that group and am moving on to a nullsec alliance. You don't need to bother yourself with hearing from me on the subject any longer, my apologies for troubling you.

Obviously, you've never ran into us in our systems - if you offer a fight / to ship-down / whatever, we'll gladly fight on an even field.

Hell, we'll send in a small (5-6 pilots) fleet of thrashers to die in a fire against a dozen T3s if someone's looking for a fight in our system. We may not always win, but we'll fight.

We pay our dues to Bob and because of it, we have a lot of fun without being complete douchebags.

And yes, we've even YOLO'd a dread before.

I can honestly (lol) say that mature wormhole corps tend to be the most honest and trustworthy corps around. Your name is all you have in a wormhole, and keeping it out of the mud is always important.

Being banned from posting on the forums just says you have a bunch of immature runts in your corp that leadership is afraid of giving them a few black eyes.
