Gnosis Market Value

If we compare a Gnosis to a Cyclone, the Gnosis has more HP in every point, more resistances, more cargo capacity, more grid, more turret hardpoints, plus it has all those special abilities. In terms of value the Gnosis is much higher. Even thou the Cyclones are selling for 30 million right now they really cost over 40 million, so with this comparison I think the Gnosis, if we consider its collection value, it could be worth about 70 million, and maybe about 65 million to make or more with the bpc's that will come to the game soon. Maybe they will actually cost about 80 million, but cannot be less or even near to the cost of a Cyclone. Right now thou there is a sort of panic selling and undervaluation because many players didn't really know about the bpc's and many don't know what the ship is really worth, but by making a comparison valuation I think its cheap.

There's been a ton of discussion about this.

It's not panic selling keeping the price down. At the end of the day it's not that great a ship (eg, you won't see a Gnosis doctrine fleet in PvP), there are hundreds of thousands of them in hangers, and not that many are being lost in combat and PvE.

The sheer volume of Gnosis in circulation also means that price moves will be pretty slow. In short, if it's indeed undervalued, expect it to slowly start to climb up.

I think more people value it as a trophy then a combat ship. Wouldn't expect to see too many going down in combat.

Oh well, I guess stacking pvp stuff is not a good idea when you don't do much pvp like me.

You know I think its a pretty cool looking ship, has its own style, maybe that will restrain some players from using it. I think its more than worth the current price thou, might be a good idea to hold on to a few, you never know.

Hold onto em if you got em, just wouldn't expect any price changes for a while.

The Gnosis is my favorite ship for moving medium value medium size cargo in highsec.

Because of the perception that only newbs fly it, noone cargoscans it. It has a big intrinsic cargo hold, can fit a lot of cargo expanders and still fits a decent ASB or shield buffer tank. Best of all, it can also fit whatever gun you want so you can whore on the killmail of any would-be ganker.

it will take at least a significant buff or a year or so of slowly emptying stacks until gnosis prices go anywhere north of 80m again.

I should buy an Ishtar.

for certain PVP roles they are pretty powerful tbh. i see quite a few around in low and null.

Seriously,...why does there need to be a new gnosis thread every week saying the same thing? OP you're a crap trader who invested in a crap item, that's on the verge of being even more worthless.

I bought a few purely for the fact that they are the only Gurista style BC in game.
