From what I`ve been told null`s become 2 big power blocs and there pets. if your not in them then your going to get destroyed the second you enter null. except with rare exceptions. Then again never been there myself can only repeat what ive been told for now.

Don't believe everything you read on various sites.

Oh not sites. I have several people in my corp who`ve been in null sec alliance`s and theve gone to high sec because of the reason i posted above.

So what are these friends doing now ?Tell me what thrills they are experiencing in high-sec ?

Sov Nullsec might be boring, but at least with Harry around, it's amusing.

nullsec is boring because of the people there, all they do is ratting and making friends, isk grinding and chatting, oh yea and one big fight a year after your leader tells you, just puppets out there

the people in nullsec act so predictable the fights could be scripted and I would not feel a difference

the characters are missing who drive the show, they don't do anything crazy, and the slow mechanics attracts that special type of gamer...

CCP should just support guerilla style warefare like they mentioned, but with full force, we only need a bunch of players to shake it all up if we get the right tools and weapons

and with that we bring in more action orientated gamers, sure most of the people out there would leave in fear, but who cares

fleeting up mechanics need to be changed, to assure randoms team up more often, shooting fleetmates need to be removed

PvE-wise, (because let's be honest, unless you pay completely out of pocket to play the game, you gotta make isk to fly, amiright), I feel that Sov null is perhaps the safest place in the game,

So what you're saying is that if CONCORD was removed from hi-sec that would actually make it safer?

Well, Mr. Malcanis, no, I did not say that Big smile. Rather I said, that sov null was the safest place in the game. I did my ratting in Deklein. Doesn't get more safe than that.

Now, to answer your question more directly, yes, I do believe high sec could live without CONCORD. And I am now a high sec/FW lowsec resident. Two things would have to happen...

1. High Seccer's would have to learn to band together, not focus on their wallet, and go in a specific direction...together. They would have to employ intel. They would have to mine, hop into a combat ship to defend, and then go right back to mining. Essentially they would need to learn pvp, and in a hurry, lol.

2. Faction Navies would have to be buffed, and standing would have to mean more than just.....7.0 = Level 5's.....8.0 = Jump Clones.....9.0 = Faction BPC's. Negative standings would need to have a true consequence other than Faction NPC's scratching your ship's buffer as you burn through their space. And consequences should range from -10.0 faction standing, all the way up to rewards as consequence for 10.0 positive.

The problem with this, is that most high sec residents cannot seem to grasp that a handful of protection from "friends", far trumps the protection of space magic NPC's...so if CONCORD was removed, so would a large portion of the player base.

On the other hand, it would create a far more dynamic world, as "high security" power blocs came to be. The 5 major hubs would burn, and later new hubs would rise, controlled by these "hs cartels." It would be anarchy, lmao. And it would be one of the funnest days EvE has ever seen. Those of us not burning, however, would be witness to the mass exodus of many, many subscribers.

But like all things in EVE, Mal, there are pros and cons. For every good or bad thing...I could find three of the opposite to retort with.

Once you realize what a joke everything is, being the comedian is the only thing that makes sense.

So wrong. I have been in plenty of fights where things get completely out of control. Hotdrops, bombs, trapped by 10+ frigates slowly taking away my shield while friends come to the aid. If you think things are so predictable why do keep playing?

Everytime you read this you are required to send 100 million isk directly to me.

I just stay there to see goonswarm fall, your lovely CFC break up and how life and action will flowback to nullsec after you people are gone

Why do you blindly hate goons and the CFC so much? If we were to actually disappear how would "life" flow back into null? I'm sure another massive coalition would form and you would hate them too.

Back on Topic -

I think CCP will have to make some changes sooner rather than later. CCP love big fleet fights, it gives them massive exposure, not just on gaming sites but even the regular press pick it up sometimes.

I think its unlikely that Russians and CFC will fight each other so the only battles will be CFC vs little guys and Russians vs little guys and that's unlikely to generate fights at all.

Harry,

I almost responded to the forum post, but I decided to send you this evemail instead. Truth is, I am tired of Goons. They are so mean and deplorable. I have come across some valuable secrets that I believe can help you defeat them once and for all. Obviously, I took great risk to get these for you, so all I ask is that you send me 50 billion isk. I will accept half now and half later. That is enough to get me to start all over. I'll lose more than that in ships alone when they find out.

Keep up the Good work.

Your secret admirer,

Personally, while blob fights can be thrilling, you can also get blue-balled a hell of a lot easier, and you can spend an hour or two sitting on a titan, waiting to bridge.

Quick question: What's blue-balled? This is the third time this week I have heard that phrase so I figure I would ask...

Quoted from Doc Fury: "Concerned citizens: Doc seldom plays EVE on the weekends during spring and summer, so you will always be on your own for a couple days a week. Doc spends that time collecting kittens for the on-going sacrifices, engaging in reckless outdoor activities, and speaking in the 3rd person."
