I'm looking for something diff than my Mach post patch. This looks like fun but would love feedback for running level 4s. Assuming lvl 5s I'm getting some low numbers:

DPS: 691
EHP: 43.9k

Warp away...pew pew. Think completion times will be way too slow? I have an alt for salvage.

Yeah, honestly I wouldn't even bother with that. I traded my mach for a Vargur but I used the same AC type setup. I run AC's and never kill anything more than 48k away so I can salvage it. A MWD is much nicer, but with the mobility nerf post patch it won't be as good to run that.

I considered 2 options for that problem...
a.) Drop the tracking computer in the low slot for a nano and continue to run a MWD.
b.) Use the MWD to jump directly into the action. It would be great for WC4, DPS room 4, or any mission that has deadspace that you can warp X amount away from in the begining. Get yourself 100k from the rats and jump right into the mix.

If you did want to use atries, I dont think you'll need the power rigs or low slot post patch. PYFA has a Rubicon patch out and the new marauders are up on the test server, but its over 100 days old so if you learned marauders in the past several months you won't be able to try them out.

I would just keep the Mach if you're going to just use a Noctis anyway. It will be way faster than any arty Vargur. AC's on both are very comparable for ISK per hour.

You'll have plenty of grid come Rubicon. As Cipher pointed out, use the MJD to jump closer and use ACs. Arty is a bit weak on a Vargur.

Here's what I plan on using for Rubicon:

A buddy of mine runs a three gyro setup with two tracking enhancers in the lows. XL Shield booster (deadspace) and Shield boost amplifier. AB or MWD. - Or something similar.

With a murader you need to learn to fly manual and don't worry about the bastion module quite yet.

Tracking computers are good an all, but you don't need 3. 2 will get you by just fine if you REALLY don't wanna go the tracking enhancer route. At three tracking computers you are honestly better off going with two tracking computers and a good target painter if your having trouble hitting at that point.

oh, and don't forget about your implants. That's as critical to a murader fit as the modules you drop in.

A three mag stab rail kronos (t2 fit) pushes about 570 DPS out of the guns. With implants and faction upgrades that pushes up to about 810. You'll get similar results (or better) out of an AC Vaurger if memory serves. Though you will be fighting at 30-45km instead of 40-80km.

Edit -

Not sure if this is his exact fit. But it's something very similar.

1200 DPS full tank

890 DPS from the guns. 0.08 natural tracking (more than enough to nail anyone with manual flight).
