covops cloak vs indirector bubble

Today i stumbled on a gatecamp, avoided it and went back the way i came. A few dictors followed me through the gate and popped bubbles around me, fortunately they didn't get a good look at where i was so i was able to recloak and drift away while they tried to bump me in all the wrong places. That got me thinking though - since the cloak isn't affected by bubbles and since afaik covops cloak can warp cloaked, could i just warp into a gategamp, get sucked in the bubble and drift to the gate and nobody would even notice i was there?

You can get through bubbles without getting un cloaked. *But*
Many campers will drop a can or 2 at the front edge of the bubble, so as you land, the can de-cloaks you.
Its always best if you don't jump directly from gate to gate.

yes i've placed a safespot few hundred k from each gate on my route. Seems to be working good so far, i think it was a mistake on my part to go back through the gate and probably should have just stayed at the safespot.

The bubble itself doesn't decloak you, so you can warp into a bubble and power to gate while remaining cloaked, as long as there isn't an object to decloak you.

Realize that small bubbles are often small enough that you might land inside the bubble within decloak range of the bubble itself. Hictor, dictor, medium, & large mobile bubbles are large enough this is generally not an issue.

Many gate campers use corpses as decloaking tools, as they stick around longer than jetcans and are often not on peoples overviews, so be sure to have a navigation tabe with cans and corpses and drones if you are regularly traversing such gate camps.

Corpses... That's right devilish. And brilliant. Glad none of the gatecamps I've gone through have done that. Time to update my navigation overview. Thank you sir.

But yeah, as long as you can sneak past anyone flying around near the gate, and any objects they've left floating, you absolutely can sneak through.

Depending on the situation, they may have bubbles on the far side of the gate as well though, which can be problematic.
