So I would get less glory when flying my mega in frigate gangs?

Yup, you have no idea what you're talking about, have never lived outside of highsec, don't know what PVP is and yet are proposing changes to the game that are both laughably easy to farm, and outright horrible.

As has been pointed out, why should a fleet lose glory points for beating a bigger fleet? What stops me from just ganking my alt 500 times for points? Why should Baltec lose points for flying his megas in frigate gangs? What stops a small gang from just...not fleeting up when they go roaming?

terrible idea.

ninja in a T1 PvP ship kills a maruader with a PvE fit and gets lots of glory points despite a ridiculous advantage and the ability to warp away at any point.

there are too many variables in how glorious a kill may or may not be to realistically make into an algorithm. kill boards have points systems, but even they will not accurately tell u how good someone is at PvP.

EVE FAQ "7.2 CAN I AVOID PVP COMPLETELY? No; there are no systems or locations in New Eden where PvP may be completely avoided"

The thing is I would like to see less ganking and better one on one fights. If you have any better suggestions for this to happen I AM ALL EARS.

Here's the thing. There is no honour in space. We are immortal demigods who slaughter thousands daily, why do we care about honour or fair fights? In real life, if you're in a fair fight then you've done something badly wrong. Same in EVE.

So you think using a fleet is a cheap kill, but picking on n00bs or definiteness ships is glorious? I just wanted to make sure I understand where you are coming from. My questions were meant rhetorically, I was not looking for information.

You play the game one way, others play the game another way. I fail to see how your method deserves a higher level of recognition than the way other people play.

You are not understanding the premise; incentivize solo PvP to add to the mayhem and give people a reason to actually undock and play the game. This is much needed in the current Eve universe. These points are a phenomenal idea. You get points for killing things solo, and lose them for being killed solo. Who cares what you kill, as long as you did indeed kill. Perhaps industrial ships should be exempt from granting these points, but any combat / exploration / scout / whatever ship should. It doesn't have to be some stupidly complex system for it to be effective, and more importantly, FUN.

This incentivizes PvP. This, is good.

Um,

I'm confused as to how killing a Marauder with a T1 ship, in just about any situation, is unfair, bad, or whatever else, and should be a basis for why this can't work.

As to your second point, no, there aren't. Ship size and tech level are all you really need. If you want, throw character life in the equation.

These don't have to be massive payouts, but something is better than nothing. Even a bounty system from CONCORD to kill pirates.
