If the collateral is reasonable, I will fill this.

What's the collateral?

And btw, you'll get this filled at considerably under 4.5%. I would suggest 2.5-3 for a quick fill but 2% will do it if you're willing to wait a little bit (although even at that rate I wouldn't think you will have to wait long).

Edit - Lol One of the people I guessed would fill at 2% posted while I was typing unfortunately.

That is not 40B of collateral.

I will offer 20B at 3% against that collateral. If you need a third party then I will accept Chribba or Grendel at your expense.

I do not spend 100% collateral for 50% of loan amount.

It would have been a perfectly good scam if it wasn't for the incompetent attempting it.

To be fair, she probably spent 40b+ on those leading up to Odyssey, it's just not worth that now even if you count the rigs as capitals at 100% of their market value.

Have you seen Alice Saki's 3rd party thread? It isn't any better and there's several people complaining about being scammed for their Supercarriers in it.

to be fair, thats worth like 36b
1b per archon
800m for 2x t2 rigs

due to the current build cost of archons i'd take a little bit more then 10% extra collateral

so 32b or therabouts?

How many people do you know that want to buy an archon?

How many people do you know that want to buy a CCC rigged archon?

How many people do you know that want to pay 1.8B for a T2 CCC rigged archon?

How many people are currently trying to offload T2 large-rigged archons?

BB, stop trying to make SENSE of things, it makes the less intelligent cry.

It occurs to me that this would be a very good "sell 20 rigged Archons quickly" scheme.

Only if it succeeded.

For all we know the deal could have been done by now, but I am doubtful given the mistakes made.

I cannot truely say that the OP intended this as a stock dump. It could have been a loan attempt or it could have been some other type of scam. Your guess is as good as mine.

Still, I think it was a mistake to unreasonably inflate the value of the collateral, I think it was a foolish to ask for in-game contact in the way it was asked for, I think it was wrong to post the collateral in the thread given the other mistakes made and it was pretty questionable to fit CCC rigs to the archons in the first place.

Of course, the OP could know better than me and could be laughing all the way to the bank right now. But even still I'd say that he was flying pretty close to the sun on this one.

Op came to me asking for a loan, I offered a significantly lower isk amount than he wanted, he rejected the offer. I suggest he posted the collateral here, to avoid any confusion or time wasting for him and everyone else.

In that case, I'm putting my chips on "honest fool". I find it far more plausible that someone would approach you about this honestly than dishonestly, because the level of stupidity required for the latter is so much higher than for the former.
