Hey, I've seen most people use rocket launchers on hookbill what i'd like to know is why since it has no bonus to rockets or are rockets considered as missiles here and take the bonus? Even so, why not missiles on the hookbill?

there aren't much ships that have a rocket boost to them like the breacher so why rockets on other ships and not the boosted ones

Thx for any input!

The hookbill is bonused both in missile damage and in missile velocity. The hull bonuses apply to rockets too.

Missiles have fitting issues, rockets allows you to fit a prop mod, tackle and tank.

for some strange reason the hookbill is the only faction frigate that has a harder time fitting than the t1 variants.

It think its some silly balance thing to try and avoid nerfing lml's like they should.

It can fit a rocket fit decently, Hookbill has mainly CPU problem which is a given since filling 5 mids is very CPU intensive.

LML on the other hand is high in fitting in general, no ship can really fit LMLs comfortably with a tank too. LML fits are usually kiting glass cannons.
