Player Features and Ideas Discussion

Over the last few years, I've posted several times on various threads about the sound in EVE. In that time span, we've had multiple expansions, upgrades, and additions. Yet we're still stuck with the same old sound effects! Why is this? I know that there are a lot of players out there who play with the sound off (or way down) to facilitate communication. But this seems a poor reason not to upgrade it. Just because some people play with their sound off doesn't mean it shouldn't be upgraded along with the rest st of EVE. Some people play the game with uber low graphics settings, but that doesn't mean the super duper graphics aren't upgraded. Not only that but new players especially will be greeted by awesome sound effects to match the spectacular graphics. And maybe, just maybe, a few players will turn their speakers on again while they play... at least for a few days. :)

even better.. intruduce new sound databases you can install into the eve client.
I kind of loved the male flight computer voice they removed a long time ago
