I am looking for some help in fitting a pvp Legion as I live in wormholes now. I was going to fit it for all nuets, but not really sure, not to mention it might be nice to have a dps fit cloaker.
So anyone got any advice please?

Cloaky T3 are not known for their DPS.

Nuet Legions are very good for WHs in a gang. The DPS on Cloaky Legion is around 300 so better off with something else for that roll.

yer I was thinking a rack of nuets on a legion, means I can hold him long enough for the gang to reach me an take him out.

basically an expensive ZU

Cloaky legion is the ultimate in heavy tackle, if it gets on top of you, you're not going anywhere.

Here's a cloaky Legion fit if you're interested in that, it has pretty brutal neuting and can alpha the cap off most cruisers and under and fully drain a BC in 2 cycles. It also has a huge 146k buffer so it's almost impossible to kill it before your gang arrives, no dps at all though.

[Legion, Neut Cloaky]

1600mm Reinforced Rolled Tungsten Plates I
Imperial Navy Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane
Imperial Navy Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane
Armor Thermic Hardener II
Damage Control II

10MN Microwarpdrive II
Shadow Serpentis Warp Scrambler
Fleeting Propulsion Inhibitor I
True Sansha Medium Capacitor Booster, Navy Cap Booster 800

Medium Unstable Power Fluctuator I
Medium Unstable Power Fluctuator I
Medium Unstable Power Fluctuator I
Medium Unstable Power Fluctuator I
Medium Unstable Power Fluctuator I
Medium Unstable Power Fluctuator I
Covert Ops Cloaking Device II

Medium Egress Port Maximizer II
Medium Trimark Armor Pump II
Medium Trimark Armor Pump II

Legion Engineering - Power Core Multiplier
Legion Defensive - Augmented Plating
Legion Offensive - Covert Reconfiguration
Legion Propulsion - Chassis Optimization
Legion Electronics - Energy Parasitic Complex

Confirming this is a good fit. I run with 3 trimarks though, most of the time you will cap the target(s) out and only keep a couple neuts running staggered to keep them dry, making that EPM not quite as useful.

There's nothing worse than an EVE player, generally considered to be top of the food chain in the MMO world, that cannot smacktalk with wit and coherency.

Confirming that neut legion works well. Here is a hunter fit, it does miracles as a hunter/tackler in a gang even without the parasitic complex...C:

Core B-Type Armor EM Hardener
True Sansha Armor Kinetic Hardener
Core B-Type Armor Thermic Hardener
Coreli A-Type Adaptive Nano Plating

Medium Capacitor Booster II, Navy Cap Booster 800
True Sansha Warp Scrambler
Federation Navy Stasis Webifier
Experimental 10MN Microwarpdrive I

Sisters Expanded Probe Launcher, Sisters Core Scanner Probe
Covert Ops Cloaking Device II
Medium Unstable Power Fluctuator I

thanks lads for the fits... yer I came up with one today after several hours of thinking....

Covert ops Cloak II
5x Unstable Power Fluctuatior I
Sisters Core probe Launcher

2x Medium Capacitor Booster II (with faction 800's)
1x Fed Navy Warp Scram
1x Fed Navy Stasis Webifier

1x 1600 Reinforced Steel Plates II
1x DCU
1x Energized Thermic Membrane
2x Centum C-Type Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane

3x Trimark Armor Pump II's

14x Cap Booster 800

Energy Parasitic Complex
Augmented Plating
Power Core Multiplier
Covert Reconfiguration
Wake Limiter
Really wanted to use the Bubble immunity, but didn't want to lose a low slot.

edit I will probably remove the EM an put a DCU in it as well... As for a MWD, I cant find a way to fit it.

Its pretty easy to fit one with decent skills, just check the two fits above. A MWD is crucial for the role.

yer I know, without it all they have to do si burn away from you .... If I remove one of the boosters I lose the ability to keep cap up for the fight?....
Somthing els is strange, eft says I have 170,000 hp roughly, but I only have 123,000 in game.

The in-game fitting tool calculates EHP according to the lowest damage type resist you have. EFT/Pyfa give you an average based on damage type percentages. An omni tank consists of the average EHP against all types of damage (25%EM, 25% thermal etc).

You don't need 2 cap boosters for a neut legion, nor do you have the cargo hold to service them properly. As soon as you catch someone and hold him at scram/neut/web range, there is no reason to run your MWD anymore anyway. But you do need the MWD to catch him in the first place, especially since you are flying a heavy armor buffer cruiser.

So you think use a faction booster, an 800's, with a MWD... hmm As for the ehp, why would it show such a huge difference, thats over 50k

Firstly, MWD is not optional, without it you simply can't perform your role properly and it's also required for general purpose travel or your gang will have to wait on you alot.

For the EHP, as said above it's simply because in-game it is calculated with 100% damage type on your lowest resist, which is a huge factor. My fit for example has 146k EHP with a uniform damage type (25% for each EXPL, KIN, EM, THERM) with EM being its lowest resist. If the damage type is 100% EM, it drops to 106kEHP so a 40k EHP reduction therefore 50k isn't surprising.

ahh ok, penny finally drops, cheers mate. So far I have been impressed with it, I did as you said. the MWD is in, I decided on a T2 booster, an faction 800 charges, seems to work well, but I have to go reload after every fight. So far am very happy with it in that I sit on the WH an when someone comes in, I lock him down an yell for guns to warp on me...
