I really love the idea and the concept of it leading into low security space as well. If you ask me the probability of having to go to low security space should be high.

The main reason why I still keep EVE on my PC and keep coming back to it is because the HUGE amount of lore it has.

I spent a full day, on Sunday, just reading the latest chronicles, the stories and whatnot. These are little fun stories to read, but other than presenting stuff that happened, the OP's idea would bring lore that we can interact with. Even if for the sake of just giving out more information and "humanizing" those red crosses. After all, as a mission runner, I am killing 20 battleship per site, each of which has a crew, times the amount of sites I run, it's basically mass murder, but they're red crosses, shoot the red crosses we're told.

This idea could bring a whole new sense of getting into the game, getting mission runners to do something different (missions tend to be extremely repetitive after a while), allowing to go a bit further, to explore what lies beyond empire space. Or merely giving random bits of information about the factions, what they think, what goes on, include small bits of teasers for the future, or just have a log about how a guy didn't find his coffee mug and was in a bad mood. I'd love to see these ingame.

First off, kudos for a very well thought out and organized posting for an idea submission.

For such low hanging fruit on the development side, they could make exploration really something interesting that tells a story and offers worthwhile rewards instead of the scan, hack, loot repeat boring exercise it is today.

It seems like it would intea decent portion of the community too... exploration, PVE, PVP pirates, lore and role players.
