Don't let these nay sayers act like they can push you around just because you gave trillions worth of isk in the form of gifted items to the richest for profit corp in the game. You're running a business and who is more deserving? No, not your customers, nor people who have spent their time to plug the glaring holes in the service you provide....that's right, you're business partners.

After all, it's your business partners who make you the real money. So keep up the good work!

Think of how many people have heard stories of the magical somer blink - "you can gamble in game money to make more in game money! Or lose it! Roll of the dice bro! LIVE DANGEROUSLY" - and as a result thought "wow this EVE game sounds fantastic, I can gamble spacemoney!" and signed up. I bet hundreds of thousands of users joined EVE solely so they can play somer blink!

Now compare that to the stories of old - the spying, the metagaming, the backstabbing and stealing. The battles involving hundreds of members. All these things, created by player organisations... these things don't create anywhere near the level of interest in EVE as the "play the lottery with fake space money" thing. No way. Not even close.

So it's obvious that somer should be rewarded time after time after time by CCP, with directly spawned in limited/special items.
